I bought this product just a few days ago. I totally agree with folks who said it was a dense cream that takes a while to absorb. I was kind of concerned at first that it would be too heavy for my skin. I'm 54 with combination-type that can tip into oily territory with the wrong skincare. But TBH, my skin has never looked so amazing! Tonight, when I went to do my usual pre-bed face wash routine, I was quite astonished at how dewy and healthy my skin looked. It's the first time in years that I've looked at myself in a mirror and didn't immediately think how tired and/or old I appeared. I'm so impressed that I am planning to get more from this line for my skincare routine.

I love this stuff. Originally I thought it would be too rich for my face, but it's made it so soft and I no longer wake up with tight feeling skin. I'm prone to spots and it doesnt make me break out- has possibly even reduced them as it's strengthened my skin barrier.

Don’t like this

My skin is kind of dry, but this is way too heavy for me. I use a tiny amount and it just makes my skin feel greasy and breaks it out. I dread using it.

Love this Moisturizer

I love using this product! It is a bit greasy, but as long as you let it sit and soak into your skin for 15-20 minutes applying makeup, then you should be good.

Amazing stuff!

I started using this accidentally, after a guest left some behind at my house, and wow - I'm so glad I found it! This is amazing stuff. My skin was looking dry and tired and within three days of using this, it was bouncy and refreshed. It's a thick cream, so use sparingly if you're not dry-skinned, but if you want your skin to plump up and come alive - this is your product. I use as a night cream and have been adding as an eye cream in the day too. It does take a little time to absorb, but it's worth the wait. I've been singing this product's praises to anyone who will listen and yes, I have now bought my own bottle.

best moisturizer i’ve tried to far

I bought this a few months ago but only starting to use it about three weeks ago. I was not expecting much, but my skin is more glowy, seems more elastic, and my pores/black heads on my nose are less noticeable. I’ve been using for some time now the GF15% serum and a retinol serum in the evening and it helped, but topping it with this cream seemed to have brought a more noticeable effect on my skin. I’m a fan!

Doubles as BEST hand cream ever !

Didn’t care for feel on my face but it is the BEST hand cream!Also good for tech-fingers callouses occurring along index and thumb v-shape from living on an iPhone. Age 76 with paper dry skin

This product saved my skin. I was really struggling with a compromised skin barrier for a long, long time and nothing I tried seemed to work. After a week or so of use, my skin felt healthy and nourished again — I can’t recommend it enough for people with dry skin or a compromised skin barrier. I use a pea-sized amount in the morning, 15 minutes before applying SPF. Many people have commented on how glowy my skin has been recently (a compliment I have never had before!). I use twice the amount in the evening to properly nourish and lock everything in.

This moisturizer feels rich but not greasy, and it absorbs quickly into my skin. I’ve noticed my skin stays hydrated longer, especially during the day. It pairs really well with my serums and doesn’t pill under makeup. Great value and great results — The Ordinary does it again!
