Got this for my birthday gift and really like it. I have thick coarse hair that gets extremely dry at the ends, and this did a good job. My hair feels softer after one wash, and my ends look noticeably smoother. 10/10 on the scent for me. I love the smell and didn't find it overpowering at all. Don't let some of the negative reviews sway your decision. It's going to perform better for certain hair types over others just like any other brand. Im a regular purchaser of high-end products, and this is a solid choice.

Loveee the clean scent to it

After a few weeks with Amika The Kure Bond Repair Shampoo, my hair feels noticeably softer, shinier, and easier to detangle. Quite possibly the worst thing I have ever put on my hair. Got this for my October birthday gift and was excited to try it out after a very difficult work week. The smell was so overpowering I could barely breathe in the shower. Once dried, my hair felt so greasy as if it was coated in dried oil that was almost powdery. Had to wash my hair twice the next day with clarifying shampoo. Such a waste of a gift.

Lovely but not for me

This shampoo is lovely but seemed to leave a thick layer in my hair. I have shoulder length, heavily dyed dark hair so thought this would be perfect but perhaps my hair was not damaged enough!. The packaging is cute and I liked the smell of the shampoo. I have given the remaining shampoo to a friend who got the conditioner free through this app so she can try them together.

This products strengthens the hair especially as its bonding shampoo and good for damaged hair. It’s got vegan proteins. It’s early to say if it’s effective but so far it’s good.
