Oldie but goodie

This is an oldie but goodie. I used to buy Calyx in the 1980's when it first came out. It is a very different scent - green smelling and clean but not like today's scents. I like it but I have to be in the mood for it.

Summer scent

I LOVE THIS SCENT! I have been wearing it for over 35 years! I highly recommend this light citrusy summer scent to any one

Just like I remember

This is a classic and it smells just like I remember when it was made by Prescriptives back in the late 90's/early 00's. It lasts all day, just like the original.

Not the same!

This is not even close to the original! If they wanted to make a new scent, fine but don't try to fool people into thinking this is anything like the original. Men would always ask me what I was wearing and it was my #1. Total disappointment.

Do not waste your money!!

DO NOT BUY THIS!! If you are wanting the old fragrance forget it. Do not waste your money. This doesn’t come close to the original fragrance. If I walk down the Walmart laundry detergent and cleaning stuff aisle you will definitely know you are in the right aisle because you will smell soapy and chemical. It smells like a fabric softener that I used while stationed in Germany. Do not buy you will be so disappointed and mad that you wasted your money like I did. I think Clinique actually had the original formula when the este launder folks bought prescriptives so not sure what happened.

NO NO NO

Just awful-I read reviews prior to purchasing and I’m sorry, but I literally can’t stand the scent. It is not pleasant whatsoever, I can’t even explain the smell. So not me! And, I’m a HUGE fan of of Clinique-total miss for me.

Memories of youth

Smells just as I remember the original. Good staying power too, especially considering how most citrus-based scents seem to fade quickly. Lovely for spring!

Would’ve been 5 Stars, but...

It doesn’t stay!!!!! I love this perfume so much I’ve bought 2 bottles, but I can’t bring myself to spend money on it again because the fragrance fades shockingly quickly. I can barely smell it on myself after an hour. If you can reapply all day long, buy it; it smells amazing, but if you hate throwing money away, you need to find something else. Clinique please find a way to make the scent last longer!!!

My sister introduced this perfume when it first came years ago by Prescriptives. I’ve been wearing it ever since.
