Is everyone under 30 obligated to smell like a fruit salad with whipped cream on top? Are we destined to default to stereotypes associating people and ages with scents because we can't think for ourselves? Lol, come on. If you've ever smelled perfumes manufactured during the 80s or before (which are more likely for older women to own and have worn) NONE of them smell like this. Some ingredients have been lost to history (real moss, civet, etc), while others have just fallen out of favor. If anyone is going to bring those back it sure isn't going to be the current Dior company. Joy Intense goes the fairly modern way of adding some hidden, tame patchouli (not listed but def present) to ground the vanilla floral... It's more peppery, and it's almost like the regular Joy married with Chanel Mademoiselle. Despite the blend and the drydown, the biggest impression is made by the unisex bergamot and freshier, floral neroli. I'm not getting any rose on me. I think this does last longer than regular Joy, but somehow not nearly as long on me as on others (5 hours tops). Pros - seasonless, inoffensive, amazing bottle. Cons - could last longer

Rated 5 de 5 por CR1966 de Whoever said this smells like rose is waaaay off. There's no rose in there. I hate rose scents, so I would never have liked this if it smelled like rose in any way. I was looking for something to replace my Chanel Allure which is one of the only scents I like. The problem was that it only ever lasted an hour or two, even when sprayed on clothing, and even in the EDP. I tried Dior Joy which was nice, but also didn't last. The intense is still not as long-lasting as I would like, but more so than the regular and more than Allure. It fades into a nice powdery scent that is nothing like Granny (whatever that even is).

I don’t need to try to describe the way it smells, as probably hundreds of others have already done so online. Just know that it’s not as potent/strong as some claim (but not weak either). And one more thing, I just turned 30 years old and love this perfume. Not an “old lady perfume” at all. For reference I previously wore Dior poison girl & dolce garden.
