My favorite product!

This is the first Sunday Riley product I've tried, and I couldn't believe the difference after one use. When I wake up in the morning after using it I'm shocked: my skin has never been smoother or brighter, and the redness is gone!

Skin Refresh Must!

As a girly whose face instantly becomes red, itchy, & peely anytime retinol touches it, this is the first retinol product my skin loves & has a noticeable, less harsh beneficial difference with. The smell reminds me of a slightly herbal tea & oddly enough, I like the blue color, as it helps me decipher where I've put enough product & where I need to more evenly distribute it. Anytime my skin looks dull, I notice discoloration, or I have an acne blemish or redness I need to tidy up, I pull out this lil buddy. If I put it on early enough before bed, it doesn't stain or grease my pillowcase. I've found the most beneficial way to apply it is to derma roller my skin first (I'm not a dermatologist, but do make sure you clean your roller before each use to prevent the spread of bacteria and further exacerbation of skin issues :) and then apply this so my skin readily soaks it in. I had horrible discoloration on my face from a chemical peel that was too strong for my skin, and this was more effective than Mederma scar cream in bringing my skin back to about 90% normal again!

Cheap dropper

I love this oil, but I bought the small bottle and the dropper is very cheap plastic and causes all the oil to leak everywhere when I try to put it on. It wastes a lot of the very expensive product. Not sure if mine is broken or if that’s just the way it is. Not sure I would buy again.

Just fine

I don’t mind the smell (kind of herbal) or the texture, but I also don’t think it really does anything for my skin other than moisturize it. I get more results from the Trader Joe’s retinol than I do from this. Been using for 4~ months and won’t be repurchasing.

Try it, for sure

So far, I give the Luna Sleeping Retinoid Night Oil five stars. I like the way it feels moisturizing and not drying like most retinol. There's always a little extra to put on my hands, too. Fast and effective, I've noticed improvement in just two week's use.

I do like the formula and how it feels , it seems to be improving my skin texture but I don't like the smell

Overall OK

Works ok but doesnt smell great. If youre new to retinol you have to understand that you csnt be using this so often to start. Its bornal to have reactions when youre new to retinol. I would prefer a different serum from a good clinic however

Couldn’t handle prescription, but this..

This stuff! If I ever had to go without it, I start looking a bit haggard. I have tried my best to find a suitable dupe, but alas, nothing has compared to the magic within this bottle. I have heard it tastes terrible, but most of us aren’t here to eat it so I won’t dock any stars for that. My skin type is really dry, I am nearly 40, and have a heinz 57 background. I tend to have hormonal breakouts but are almost exclusively due to my food choices. Every-once in a while a skin product will trigger things. This stuff, even though it is an oil, is so so so good for my dry skin. I put it on after every shower and wish I could bathe in the stuff. Just to note, I could not handle prescription retinol. I did the whole three month thing and it made my skin worse than ever. So for all you gals and guys, if you can’t handle the strong stuff but still want the benefits of it, try this.

Nasty old donut grease smell

I’ve been using this for about a week and noticed it started to give me acne :(((( The smell also reminds me of the time I was pregnant and ate too many donuts and could not get over the after smell LOL. I would have been able to deal with the smell if it wasn’t so heavy, greasy and causing acne. I will immediately be discontinuing. P.S. recommend living vibrations to truly transform your skin <3

I wanted to love this

Recommend to me because oils are supposed to be better for dry and sensitive skin- but this still left red marks on where I get dry patches after only one use. Way too strong for a beginner retinol!

Must Have

Received this as a sample and it has worked wonders! I have sensitive skin that was blotchy and red and within a day or two this reduced redness and my skin is much clearer!!
