This looks great and stays put all day. I even get compliments on the color.

Natural look, easy application

I have been using this for several years now and will continue to do so. It has been the best eyeliner so far but honestly it could be better. It goes on smoothly and is easy to remove but the color is a bit uneven and not saturated. Also, there isn’t much product in the tube so be prepared to replenish often. Great for a soft, subtle look if that’s what you’re going for.

Hard to blend but it’s very good if you use want to put it in your waterline in a natural way because it won’t be too intense

This Is The One!

So, I'm an older woman, gray hair, wrinkles, et al. I've been looking for a while now for an eyeliner that I could easily smudge for a softer look. There are of course a lot of them out there but this is the one for me. The pencil is soft, does not pull at all and the smudge end is just perfect. I'm so happy with this! The color is a bit too brown for me, turns a bit pinkish, but I'll get the "new black" soon. The brown just doesn't go with my coloring.

It's okay

It's okay if you don't use eyeliner much or are just starting out. Doesn't smudge well and the tip on the end doesn't work well. However, I like drawing things like hearts on my face and it's good for that.

Nope!

It dries almost instantly which makes it almost impossible to smudge. We don’t all want harsh thick eyeliner! Plus the metallic flakes while pretty, scratch as I try to smudge. This is a hard No for me.

Not enough pencil for the price

I love this eyeliner for everyday looks - but why does it run out so fast? I love it but I'm tired of reordering.

Good liner, don’t use foam tip to smudge

I’ve used this eyeliner 4-5 times now & like the color, ease of application & the fact that it stays in place. I’m giving only 4 stars because when I use the foam tip to smudge out the liner, it rubs the color away

Glides

I have intense black. Received it some time ago…some kind of perk. I don’t think it’s dark black enough but do use it on minimal makeup days. Clinique sale, pick up a few items. Purchased intense ebony, chocolate and aubergine. Ebony is much darker and richer in color than intense black. Like the intensity. Chocolate, upper lash line I have to go over it more, apply more in order to get best payoff. I have dark chocolate liners that are much darker than this one. When not wearing eyeshadow shows up more of course. Aubergine, pretty. I use it especially when wearing pink and purple shadow looks. Great look. My go to pencil/retractable liner is and always has been Stilla. Best payoff for me. Very rich color. I’m happy with these three shades. Glides on no effort. So soft. Stays on all day. Even the chocolate is nice. More subtle look. I don’t use opposite end to smudge out. I use my own smugger. I do recommend these.

garbage! doesn’t transfer…

Not good! I bought this thinking it was the same as a sample I received months ago but it is completely different. The “black” is grey and it refuses to transfer product to my upper waterline. I can only draw on my lid which is not my usual routine. Clinique has another eyeliner called quickliner intense which is what my sample was but now I’ve lost interest. Why are they named so similar?? The search to replace the Marc Jacobs liner continues…
