Rated 3 de 5 por de Maybe it works, but it's not for me I'm an experienced retinoid user and absolutely don't want to live without one in my skincare routine. I was excited to try this retinol serum because this company has such a great reputation for well-formulated products. However, it is incredibly oily and feels very distasteful to apply to my skin. I have combination skin that's oily in some areas and dry in others and have used many other serums and creams without this feeling. It applies like grease and doesn't seem to absorb as I pat it gently onto my face. It leaves my face feeling like it needs to be cleansed again. I typically view my nighttime routine as an enjoyable time to wind down, but this serum has put a damper on that enjoyment. I hoped the results would pay off, as I'm determined to use the bottle up and not be wasteful, but I haven't seen any discernible results. It may work well for someone who is new to retinoids and has extremely dry skin, but for me, it's not a rebuy.

Rated 3 de 5 por de Formula change:( I have used this product for about 3 years. This was the ONLY product that got completed rid of my stubborn back acne. I started using it about 2 summers ago and the color was yellowish. I continued to use it on my body every night because the skin on your body is thicker than on your face, my back has built a tolorance towards the retinol sense I started with the .05%. I was absolutely obsessed with it when my body was acne free. I reordered it and now the formula does nothing for my skin and the color is now clear. Super disappointed. Please bring the old formula back:(.

Rated 5 de 5 por de This has given me hope in my skin again I initially bought it for acne scars, and I was so surprised to see my skin become so smooth and supple. I personally love the texture. It hasn’t irritated my skin at all, even though I started using it daily from the start. I have had experience with retinol in my teenage years but I forgot how good it is for my skin.

Rated 5 de 5 por de Best so far. This is the best retinol product I've used on my face. I really hope that the company and the chemists never change the formulation of this retinol line. I've noticed that my white and blackheads slowly disappear.

Rated 5 de 5 por de I hope that my review and critique I hope that my review and critique, Deciem team will take into account, I see similar opinions in other reviews. I have been using Retinol 1% for two weeks, and my skin is nicer, softer, tighter, except for the redness, which is okay, in the first couple of weeks. I think this is the best product of all The Ordinary Retinol, even of those retinoids. It would be good if we made another option, without oil, to have a watery texture, for those for whom the oil from this retinol 1% does not suit. Or simply that there is another option, for summer days or whatever, to have more options for this Retinol 1%. Or to simply improve the formula. I don't know what to say about the new retinoids, considering that no research has been conducted on them, on your part, as far as I am aware of the situation. I was hesitant between Retinol 1% and Retinoid 2% in Emulsion, but since Retinoid 2% in Emulsion has not been tested (as well as the one in Squalane) and the amount of retinol is about 0.2%, I still took Retinol 1%. I love this 1% Retinol option, I would love to have it with an even higher percentage of retinol, if at all possible, I would buy from you forever!

Rated 4 de 5 por de Good ingredients Good ingredients the only complaint that I have is that this might be for people who sleep on their back… because the texture is oily, it doesn’t get absorbed and dry so it rubs off on my pillow and I am wondering if it is still effective even if it doesn’t stay on my face during the night.

Rated 5 de 5 por de Amazing always works; do your research I don’t really relate to the reviews that state they feel the formula changes. I think it’s really important to research retinol strengths and look at the implications online before using. I have been using this product for about two years, and I’m never disappointed. I have very sensitive skin, and I don’t use it every night. I usually do lactic acid one night , an overnight moisture mask another night and then straight up Ordinary retinol 1% another. It’s super important that if you are using this you need to be wearing a good quality sunscreen the days after. I was surprised at how gentle I found it was , as long as your using lots of sunscreen and not using it every single night. I found it helpful for me to take breaks between as mentioned above. It’s noticeable decreased my scars from acne as a teenager, and overall leaves the skin looking and feeling more healthy! I love these products so much and I love how accessible this brand makes skin care , for everyone ! I think it’s really important to note that everyone’s skin is so different and if you react poorly to retinol there are still so many options out there. I also really like the Matrixyl serum from the Ordinary which also works very well and is super gentle.
