Great Cleanser

As a male in my late 20’s, with oily/combination skin and large pores, I love this cleanser. It helps remove oily buildup and congestion from my face. It is a gel that foams on skin, and washes away so cleanly; which is important to me. I’ve been using this since April, and plan to keep with it.

Super gentle & amazing!

I am a tatcha addict and I swore by this. It was my favorite wash and still is, but I stopped using it for awhile and damaged my skin barrier. When I tell you that I used all tatcha products, every single day, I mean it! Their brand ALWAYS works with my sensitive skin, it’s never made me break out, it’s never burned, and I am ready to get back to it as soon as my skin barrier is repaired. I have never felt more glowy and dewy as I have using this religiously. I have their exfoliating cleanse, their water cream, the essence, the texture tonic, the kissu lip mask and the violet c radiance mask. As soon as my skin is healthy again, I am going to buy even more, I have never felt so seen by a brand. Having sensitive skin and being able to use these products for years has been an absolutely amazing experience. I can’t wait to try their eye cream, facial oils, and serums. They’ve come a long way.

Unfortunately, it didn’t work for me.

It has a wonderful formula, but it just didn’t suit me. I think gel textures don’t work for my skin at all. It does cleanse pores and smooth skin texture. However, I didn’t notice any improvement in skin tone, as I developed an allergic reaction to one of the ingredients in this cleanser. Compared to the classic version, that one worked perfectly for me.

do not ever discontinue this. perfect for daily cleansing and even taking off makeup

New packaging/formula for The Deep Cleanser

I am not sure if this is the new formula/version of “the deep cleanse” bottle looks the same. However it’s definitely a different product. This packaging SUCKS. You go to pour it out on a face scrubber or your hand, so much product gets wasted and spills. They need better quality control to slow pour, as this is expensive to be wasting. One bottle should last me like 2-3 months considering I use a small amount every day. However, this will probably only last me a month or so. Bring back the original.

Good cleanser, not so good price

I’ve been using this cleanser daily for about a year. There’s not really much to say, I mean… it does its job as a cleanser, it is fragrance free, and it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. The only thing that makes me not want to buy it anymore is the price. There’s plenty of gel cleansers that are extremely similar and do the same thing for a much more affordable price.

Although my skin is not very oily I tried this when sent a sample. Leaves my skin feeling so good and definitely helps pores. Great cleanser

This lathers so well and leaves my skin feeling moisturized and clean! Perfect for my sensitive acne prone skin

Do Not Buy

This cleanser is the worst. I bought this in error thinking it was the Tatcha deep cleanse. The packaging is terrible. It leaks everywhere without you even using it. Do not recommend. I wish I could return this.

OK product horrible packaging

While the overall product was not bad, Ive had much better cleansers and the previous version was much better. The packaging is absolutely cheap and wastes lots of product. It just pours out without even squeezing the bottle

Makes my skin really clear

I usually get bad breakouts but this cleanser has completely improved my skin texture, I like the fact there isnt really a fragrance and how clean and fresh it makes my face feel. My only complaint is I tried it previously in the 50ml version and it was more of a gel texture that foamed, however this version was more watery which may be an issue with the one I bought but it overall is great

My fave cleanser

This cleaner gently cleanses my skin and helps so much with my oily t zone. I find even one use really makes a difference
