Really Good Multi-Use Product

First of all, let me say that I LOVE the concept of this brand! I have tried two products, the Two Way Cake and the Full Coverage Complexion Cream and both are stunning! I'm about an NC42/NC43ish and I'm TW02 in the Two Way Cake and HC03 the Full Coverage Complexion Cream - both match my medium-medium tan olive skin tone gorgeously. The Two Way Cake does work very well at both setting liquid foundation as well as for a powder foundation - though I prefer it for a powder foundation since I usually set my liquids with translucent powders. It's not too creamy nor is it too dry, so I think it'll suit many skin types. Built-up I would say it's a medium-high coverage. The only slight issue I have with it is that it does oxidize quite a a shade or so. Besides that I think it's beautiful!

I lucked up one day and asked a friend what makeup she used and she reached in her purse and showed me this brand which I had never heard of. I couldn't believe how flawless and natural her skin looked. I couldn't get to sephora fast enough. The instant I put it on, I knew that there was no turning back. Glided on easy and instantly erased my oily skin. It's so natural looking and light. It does transfer a bit but it's a small price to pay for the excellent coverage you get. I'll never go back to mac again.... I'm so in LOVE right now!!! I even stocked up on some when I got a special coupon. This is grade A!

cakey/ undertones too warm

I tried this powder in store. It settled so orange on me, it was crazy. Plus it doesn't layer well... Leaves a very cakey appearance. The blush and lipsticks are BEAUTIFUL!!! However for foundation, I'll stick to MUFE. I'm a 173 in MUFE HD for reference

Love This!

I use this powder over my BB cream from a different brand. The combination is beautiful. I've been getting regular compliments since I started using this powder 2 months ago. The reddish undertones in my TW13 cake powder counteract the yellowy tendency of the SPF product in BB creams. The combination is perfect on my chcolate skin tone. And The powder is light enough to use as my touch-up product during the day in my oily t-zone. I'm in heaven with my new foundation routine!

Cosmetic lines, take note!

I haven't purchased this YET, but am giving it 4 stars for being the rare brand that has ORANGE overtones. Brilliant!! As a neutral brown girl, the powder/concealer/foundation pool is very limited. Most brands lean red & that looks awful if you're not warm. Can't wait to receive this powder. ☺️

Love, love, love!

Absolutely love this powder! It's matte, it's light, it matches my skin perfectly and I don't break out when using it. It's my new go-to powder! It makes me want to try other products in this line. Love it!

Beautiful, velvet coverage

I just love this powder. I use it as a foundation and for touch-ups. It makes your skin look like velvet. I just apply a couple of swipes across my face and perfection. I find that I am really loving this line of cosmetics.

Perfect match

It can be difficult and frustrating for those of us with deep skin tones to find makeup that matches us well. I was cautiously optimistic when buying Two Way Cake for myself and a friend, and we were both pleasantly surprised by how perfectly it matched our skin. It is very natural looking and blends into the skin nicely. I wear TW 12 and my friend wears TW 16 (for reference, our MAC shades are NW 43 and NW/NC 45, respectively).

I am thrilled that Sephora now sells Black Up. I have tried this 3 way cake and I just loved it - so natural looking as a foundation or a setting powder! LOVE!!!

AMAZING!!

This powder foundation is amazing. It is lightweight enough to work as a setting powder over liquid foundation, but also work as a light-medium coverage foundation on its own. It has a beautiful matte finish without looking cakey, and comes in a wide range of shades for women of color. I love this compact. It is my go-to powder and I keep it in my makeup bag for touchups throughout the day. Worth every penny!
