Valentino rarely misses with their BIR line. They nailed it with this. Longevity is always crazy and this is feminine & very cool girl scent. It’s rich and powerful but still gives you the pretty essence. The rose is predominant but you can still smell the other notes in the background.

Fruity sweeter version of the line

This lasts all day. Little goes a long way. It has a very bright fruity opening. The DNA is similar to that of the OG but more similar to that of the intense version. I personally think that the OG is more office and everyday appropriate but I like to wear this one all the time as well :) I usually spray about 3-4 sprays depending if I’ll be indoor or outdoor but the sillage is moderate on me.

Extradose for the win

DBIR Extradose is my favorite flanker to date. It has the original DNA but is less floral and more gourmand since they switched out the jasmine note for rum. You’re left with a beautiful and intoxicating scent profile, and this never ceases to get me compliments. Do yourself a favor and get this!

Extradose or extra-beautiful

Extradose is one of my favorite Dona born in Roma flankers. She is true to the DNA of DBIR however she is boozy, slightly sweet and addictive. You can dress her up or down. The bottle is stunning and DBIR classic. Not to mention the projection is amazing 10/10. I am currently on my second bottle and have the big bottle on back up.

Sophisticated Nighttime Fragrance

I absolutely adore this scent—bold, decadent, and irresistibly sexy. It opens with a juicy blackcurrant (cassis) note that immediately draws you in, then shifts into a rich rum accord, finally settling into a creamy vanilla‑extract base that lingers beautifully.  The bottle continues the signature studded style of the “Born in Roma” line but with a deeper, more luxurious finish—feels like a true evening‑luxury piece. Longevity is impressive: I sprayed a little morning, and even by evening the vanilla base was still subtly there, making me feel confident all day. Pros: Delicious gourmand‑fruity opening, smooth transition into warm vanilla, glamorous packaging, great lasting power.

Rum + vanilla

I think maybe I purchased this during the wrong season. In the summer I thought it was just way too strong and would give me a headache. But now that it’s cooling down, this is DELICIOUS. It smells like a sexier, boozy version of the original DBIR.

Amazing smell

I just smelt this in the store and let me tell you it lasted so long on my wrist!! I even showered and the smell is still there. Definitely picking this up soon.
