[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I received the shade ultra sheer mocha and it does feel like velvet. The fragrance was a subtle powder scent and the packaging was great for keeping the powder sealed. I would however preferred more of a bigger tab to pull the cover. The coverage is instant and really gives you an airbrush filter look without being cakey. It held my makeup in place after my 10 hour shift and commute all while wearing a mask in 70° weather. The coverage also kept the creasing at bay and very minimal separation.

As someone with dry skin and allergies this has been the best to set my under eyes i don’t have issues with my concealer coming off when my eyes get watery or itchy I love it

Additionally, I was pleased to find that it is unscented, which is a significant plus for those with sensitive skin.

Nice shade range!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Unfortunately, I was sent the wrong shade of this product so I can’t speak to its actual makeup setting abilities or lasting power. But I will give a review on what I can. The packaging is very nice. It feels good in your hands and it’s easy to open and I love that it has a clear snapping top so that the powder doesn’t get everywhere. The powder feels smooth and silky and goes on lightly. It doesn’t feel cakey at all. I do appreciate that Kosas made multiple different shades of this product for different skin tones and didn’t just make one “translucent” powder that doesn’t work for everyone. The shade I received is called Mocha and it is a deep translucent tone that I think would work really well for those with deep skin tones. I also feel like the price point is really good - you get a ton of product for the price.

Flawless!

I tend to steer away from powders because I love glowy makeup, but this product is AMAZING. This powder did not make my look cakey at all, and played beautifully with the rest of my makeup. This powder had a beautiful finish and didn’t look too pink. Honestly the perfect powder.

New holy grail to me

This gives that airbrushed look immediately. I would purchase again no questions asked. Very brightening and perfect for fair-med skin tone.

Super For Sensitive Skin

The Kosas Cosmetics Cloud Set Loose Translucent Powder in the color, Velvety Mocha is great! I love the packaging. The powder doesn’t fly all over the place when the lid is opened. The powder is finely milled and has no scent. It feels very lightweight and helped blur out my pores while keeping my makeup set the whole day. It didn’t dry out my skin like most powders do and did it didn’t make my eyes water. The only drawback is the color I chose has more of a redder tone than I would’ve liked on it, but that means this will be a better match during the summer months. In the meantime, I just use a light dusting of it and my makeup came out great. I am familiar with the Kosas brand since I have another product from them in a trial size. because. Once my translucent powder is empty I think I will be purchasing another one in another color.

This formula sits just right on my oily/combination skin. It does not cake up and gives a blurred finish.
