Coverage of a foundation, spf of a sunscreen

I use this instead of foundation on some days. I'm amazed because on me, it has a solid medium coverage and it does not break apart even after 10 hours! I love that it has spf 30 and I can skip the sunscreen step.

I was looking for a perfect BB cream and so far, I am still on the hunt.. I am pretty fair in color with pink undertones and 02 I found to be a tad too dark for me. The consistency is really thick for a BB cream, I am used to much lighter textures. I tried the CC cream from Clinique and it feels similar. A little goes a long way when it comes to coverage and one thing to keep in mind - once it sets on your skin it SETS! So work quickly! It stays on the skin an average amount of time, nothing too too impressive as I also have oily skin and without setting it with some sort of powder - the product slides off of me. Not the product's fault, just my skin :)

This is the foundation I use on a daily basis. Most make me break out and this does not. If you try to apply directly after moisturizing it won’t blend well and gets streaky. The coverage is pretty good, but could be better over large pores. You can’t use it over a primer, again it’ll get streaky and won’t blend.

The colour is a good match for my skin tone, but can be difficult to blend it in - it takes some care to make it look natural. It wears well and doesn’t feel heavy. Doesn’t make me break out. And it does seem to improve my skin (tone and “glow”) after a week of use.

The best if you have dry skin!!

I have extremely dry skin, and could not find one foundation that wouldn't start cracking, flaking, and separating as soon as it dried. This has enough coverage to cover texture, and not feel caked at the same time. It also doesn't break my skin out like almost every single other foundation did. I also work an 8 hour job, and it holds up wonderfully.

It was my first Clinique makeup purchase, I love their moisturizer. I got it at a cheaper price than what it is now, but it has lasted me almost a year so I’ll probably buy again. I have dry skin so it never made my face greasy, but I could see how it might with some people. It’s buildable, so you could put either concealer and some powder over it or just wear it by itself. You could also put foundation on over it if you want and it won’t look Cakey. Barely even noticed the sunscreen aspect either which is cool.

Thick, hard to blend, and clings to lines and pore

I'm not big on foundation, but I was looking for something with SPF and light coverage. I just didn't like this. It's very thick and hard to blend. I used a sponge and had to keep rubbing to get it to blend in. It clings to and emphasizes pores, dry spots and lines. And I still had to use concealer for redness around my nose. This was my first time trying a BB cream and I'm not impressed.

I really had high hopes - I love Clinique products generally - but I did not have a good experience with this cream. It has a weird, goopy consistency. It didn't seem to matter what application method I used - sponge, brush, fingertips - the cream just lifted off my skin. I guess I was expecting it to melt into my skin more, like a lotion, but it just sat on the surface and was really hard to blend.
