Strange Smell

This product smelled great when it was on my hands but once I put it in my hair, my hair started smelling funky the very next day. My hair was freshly washed so I knew it has to be the oil. I've never had this issue with any other hair product.

One of the Better Products from the Line

I REALLY wanted to love this line, especially after purchasing almost the entire line after reading some reviews. My initial response was good, I feels as if all the products in the line worked great for my curly but fine hair…for about 3 weeks. Then, it just wasn’t the same. I don’t know if I wasn’t using them correctly, or? I just became less impressed with the whole line over-time, and more so annoyed! The best products in the line are the moisture oil and curl defining cream.

Light but hydrating

I loved how you get beautiful shine without the weight! It's such a light oil that goes on easily and makes your hair gorgeous and hydrated. Great for the ends of your curls where they can look dry. Smells nice but not too strong.

The oil itself is okay, but it smells bad

I really wanted to like this product. I am always searching for the best products to add shine to my hair and help minimize the frizz. The product itself is decent but it made my hair smell terrible! I kept thinking maybe it was something else, but it wasn't. I was using this oil on a daily basis and since I've stopped, my hair smells better.

Makes my frizzy curls much softer!

I have 3a/3b chronically frizzy hair and I haven't had much success using hair oils. I've tried numerous types, be it formulated products (which tend to just leave my hair feeling more brittle over time) or pure coconut, almond, olive, or grapeseed oil which often leave my hair feeling coated but dry (with the exception of argan oil). This Living proof shine oil though has become a staple in my haircare routine post-shower because it is one of the only oils that locks in moisture well and makes my hair strands actually feel softer with a smoother, less frizzy curl pattern. The fragrance smells really nice to me, and is a mild to moderately strong florally/fruity scent that isn't overpowering. Love that the packaging isn't messy either.

Shiny and Hydrated.

Leaves hair shiny and hydrated without the unwanted crunchiness! It definitely enhances the waves in my hair. Also had a great scent.

This Curl Moisturizing Shine Oil by Living Proof leaves my hair feeling soft and smooth, while also giving it incredible shine. I was initially worried that it would be too heavy, but it’s not. It’s lightweight, and it does a great job of controlling any frizz. I love the scent as well. I highly recommend this product.

Good oil, weird smell

As an oil, it did its job with hydrating my hair. However, it doesn't leave a good scent behind! I love the way Living proof products smell usually and this was wasn't the same. I had to wash it out of my hair to make my hair smell fresh again.

Leaves hair shiny

The oil smelled really nice. The oil is lightweight and added shine to my hair. It didn't make my scalp oily.

This is a nice oil, it isn't something you will miss out of your hair routine though. Oils are more for your scalp but this was nice to use before wash day on my actual hair.
