This protectant spray is amazing and so worth the price! Absolutely luxurious experience, my hair smells like I just left a salon. They feel smooth and soft to the touch, plus it protects it from heat when I style it. Love from the first use.

It's wonderful! I always wanted to buy this. It makes my hair soft and has a lovely scent. I loved it so much and I recommend it. When you apply it to your hair, you'll feel the softness immediately.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I’m loving this product and it smells so good.. my hair feels really healthy after blow dry oh it and a lot less frizz compared to other heat protectors I have used. My hair looks shiny and healthy. Great value.

Awesome and works fast

LOVE this! Works immediately for dry hair and to controls static after hair is dry. I have thin hair and it does NOT weigh it down.

Could be better

Smells good , however Im not sure it doesn’t really do much in terms of heat protecting , it could be better and also dries out my hair :(

Hair feels softer, doesn’t weight it down when you put it in Easier to get my hairbrush through my hair

A good heat protectant if you use lots of heat. I don't use this every day because I don't love the scent.

Buy if you want greasy hair

Super expensive for such a terrible product. Will definitely leave your hair greasy!! Also, the nozzle is terrible and shoots product out so fast and narrowly onto your hair. Overall, there are better heat protectors.

Changed formula?

I’ve been using the genesis range for a year, after experiencing significant seasonal hair fall last autumn. It worked wonders at the time but now my hair is feeling really dry and frizzy, and cannot hold a style. I washed and dried without using this spray recently as I was having my hair put up for a wedding, and it did blow dry much easier, so I’m not sure if it’s the spray that’s contributing towards the dryness. It was out of stock for a while so I’m wondering if the formula has changed? Going to switch to a moisturising range for a while and hope that makes a difference! A shame, as I’ve recommended the range to lots of friends, but my hair is just so parched right now it needs a change!

Good lightweight protection but annoying nozzle

I like the Kérastase Genesis Défense Thermique. It feels really lightweight and doesn’t leave any residue, which I love. The only downside is the nozzle, it’s a bit awkward to use and makes it hard to spray evenly. Otherwise a good heat protectant.

Perfect for brittle hair

Makes my hair feel so soft and silky after use! The spray bottle can on occasion get stuck but for how good the product is it’s not really a problem for me! For reference I have been healing damaged and thinning hair that had a serious breakage problem however since using this my hair has been silky soft with minimal breakage

Not as good in the long run

Only good when your hair is damaged at first then it made my hair super dry in the long run. I would only recommend to use it on damaged hair then you can switch to another product later (I have fine straight hair )
