Beautiful and Promising Serum

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I've been using this Kerastase serum for a few weeks now. While to truly get visible results on hair thinning/growth, it would probably need to be consistently used for months, I do have my initial thoughts. First off, I very much enjoy the packaging. The glass bottle feels lux, but simple. By far, my favorite detail is the usage line in the dropper. So many serums leave you guessing how much is enough, or not enough, and the line makes it easy to apply the perfect amount every time. Another detail I loved in this serum is the scent. It is by far, the best smelling hair serum I have ever used. It is truly a pleasure to apply and get a whiff of that lovely, soft and feminine fragrance. Now on the the product and how it applies. While the instructions specify it should be applied to wet hair, I use it also on dry hair. Because of hair loss woes and worries, I only wash my hair twice a week and I wanted to get this product in my hair more often than that. Happily, the serum did not make my feel crunchy or sticky. I did start to feel it a bit heavy the day before I was due for a wash, but even then, it wasn't too bad. I am looking forward to using and finishing this bottle and if I start to see results, I will absolutely repurchase and make it part of my routine.

Definitely purchasing again

I’ve been using this serum for a few weeks and I’m very happy with it. The texture is lightweight and does not leave my scalp oily or sticky. It absorbs quickly and feels refreshing. I’ve noticed less hair fall when brushing, and my scalp feels healthier overall. A little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts well. I would continue using it.

Promising Start

Since I have gotten older, I have notice my hair has started to shed more. I want to be proactive with keeping my hair healthy and full so I have been on journey to try and find the best hair products to stop the this. It is light weight and very watery with a slight almost floral scent. It absorbs easily and doesn’t leave my hair feeling or looking greasy. I’ve applied it to wet and dry hair and then just style as usual. I like that the applicator has a line on it that marks how much serum should be dispersed in your hair at a time. With hair serums, I do feel like you have to use consistently and for a few months before you see results. I will say with this one, I did notice very quickly after starting this I experienced less shedding in the shower which is definitely a promising sign that this hair serum will deliver. I will definitely continue to use and look forward to the long term results

I was offered this product and I am so lucky to be able to try it! I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now and have noticed that I don’t lose as much hair since using it. I also love the scent! I only use it every other day and I think the effectiveness would even be better if I do it daily as recommended. Love this product!

Work well so far

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] It’s super easy to used. It’s serum with line on the suction tube so, you know how much you supposed to use each time. It’s non oily or sticky so, my hair doesn’t go flat or wet. It took 2 minutes to apply the whole thing. So far so good.

Gentle scalp formula

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I’ve been using the serum for about 2 weeks now. It smells good, not too strong, slight aftersmell of alcohol. Feels good on the scalp and gives the hair the appearance of thickness. I’ve seen a bit of a hair growth but I can’t attribute it to the use of the serum necessarily. I believe you need consistent use of about 6 months to see changes in scalp. But it didn’t irritate my scalp and made my hair look healthier. I will continue using it.

Easy Peasy

It comes in a beautiful glass bottle that feels high-end, and with growing concerns about microplastics, it’s nice to see packaging that uses minimal plastic. The serum has a light, pleasant scent and applies easily to the scalp without feeling messy. The dosage line on the dropper is clear and easy to read, making it simple to measure the correct amount each time. I’ve noticed some thinning along my hairline, so I’m hopeful this product will continue to help and that I’ll see more results with continued use.

A staple but the smell might by irritating

This is a good product overall, but the scent is very strong—almost like straight perfume. When I don’t use it on my scalp, my hair feels thinner and I notice more breakage, so it definitely makes a difference for me. I would recommend it, but probably not for anyone who is sensitive to strong fragrances. That said, most Kérastase products do tend to have a noticeable scent.

Unfortunately, this serum did not work for me or my hair care needs. I did not notice any improvement or difference in my hair loss while using it. I still experienced hair loss, split ends, damage, breakage, and frizziness, as shown in the picture. Also, despite being called a serum, the consistency is very watery, essentially the same as water which was surprising and not what I expected. Overall, I wasn’t impressed with the results, and I would not repurchase since it didn’t deliver any noticeable benefits for my hair.

Smells so good

The scent is a high end, fresh citrus that makes the application feel like a spa ritual. While it hasn't completely stopped all shedding, I've definitely noticed significantly less hair in my brush and shower drain, and my scalp feels much less 'tight' and irritated. It's definitely a splurge, but if you struggle with breakage and want a product that won't ruin your hairstyle, it's worth the investment.

For less breakage not directly growth

I received my bottle of Kerastase Genesis Fortifiant Hair Serum free from Influenster for my honest review. The product is for hair health and strength that has been damaged by heat styling and/or brushing. It is not directly for hair growth. The 90ml bottle states to use 4 pipettes (doses) a day on your towel-dried or dry scalp. A dose is about a ml so using 4 daily makes the bottle last just over 3 weeks. It is as water in texture so make sure to tilt your head to the side and back when applying or it will run into your eyes. I have shoulder length fine hair and I only need 2.5 pipettes each time. The first week of use my hair looked amazing and noticeably had more height near the scalp with shiny volume in the strands. After that initial time my hair felt slightly weighted down and the ends got a little crispy. The entire time there was less shedding when I washed or brushed my hair.
