Outrageous Plump Effect Gloss - Gloss Outrageous Efecto Volumen

I initially thought i was going to love this gloss. The formula and color are beautiful but the glitter is GRITTY. You can feel the glitter when you’re rubbing your lips together. I like that they have this cool toned shade in the lineup since neutral and cool toned shades seem hard to come by these days. The formula is similar in texture to most traditional glosses, it’s definitely thicker than a lip oil which is good. The plumper is nice and not too strong. New favorite for subtle gloss plus lip plump

I tried the shade Sparkling Dawn and it’s such a gorgeous everyday gloss. It has a sheer nude shimmer that gives your lips a really pretty, juicy shine without looking over the top. The formula feels smooth and hydrating, and I noticed a slight tingling from the plumping effect, not too intense, just enough to make lips look a bit fuller. It also has a fresh, minty feel which I actually enjoy. It’s not sticky at all, and my lips stay soft even after it wears off. Like most glosses, it doesn’t last through eating, but it fades evenly and is easy to reapply. Overall, a really solid gloss if you want shine, hydration, and a subtle plump with a hint of shimmer.

The perfect plumping tingle

-I love a plumping gloss, so I was so excited to try this Outrageous Plump Hydrating Lip Gloss by the Sephora Collection. I received the shade sparkling dawn which is considered a shimmering nude. You can feel the shimmer in the gloss, but it isn’t super gritty or uncomfortable. I wore this shade on its own, paired with a lip liner, and over a lipstick. It looked great all three ways. When applied to the lips, you immediately get that plumping tingle feel. The tingle is very minimal and is not painful at all. The formula is hydrating, glossy, and leaves you with the perfect plump. I really enjoyed this lip and will definitely continue to use.

Kind of bright on my lips

I can immediately feel this lip gloss working on my lips by plumping them up. Maybe that is why it's called outrageous lip gloss. It plumps up my lips and makes them look bigger. I can feel the stinging sensation. The color is very loud, clear, and bright. It goes on bright, clear, and it's glittery. The packaging gives pillow patterns vibes and is very appealing and unique. I think it's a little too bright for my skin tone. However, I made it work. I received this product as a part of an educational promotion.

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. I have been using this plumping lip gloss for a couple of days and I absolutely love it. Like most lip plumping products it does produce a bit of tingling but unlike others it is not so bad and goes away in the first minute or two after application. The product does not dry out my lips which I greatly appreciate and the color is subtle so I can combine with another lip stain or lip liner. I have greatly enjoyed this product and recommend it.

A must have

I love it and very smooth but it is a little thick. I love the shade and I love how plump it makes my lips.

Good Lip Plumper!

I love this! Some lip plumpers can be very uncomfortable but this did not feel that way at all! It was more of a cooling feeling like mint. The glitter was a bit thicker but not uncomfortable. Lasted on my lips for awhile and smells good! Great neutral shimmery lip gloss if you want more fullness to your lips as well!

Cute color! Definitely has that plumping affect but not overboard. It is a little tacky on the lips but nothing crazy.

She’s Gorg

I’m honestly obsessed with this gloss. It gives the perfect juicy shine without feeling heavy or sticky on the lips. The formula is super hydrating and keeps my lips feeling soft and smooth for hours. I also noticed a subtle plumping effect that makes my lips look a bit fuller in the best way. It looks beautiful on its own or layered over lip liner for a more defined look. Definitely a go-to in my everyday makeup routine and something I keep reaching for daily.

Really impressed with this gloss it feels and looks so luxurious and a little goes a long way!

Color is amazing, and I love the amount of shine. It does well for the price. Keeps your lips plumping for awhile. I do not like the applicator or the bottle at all though. Both feel really weird and stiff.

Pretty color but texture & fallout make it a pass

TL;DR: Beautiful, hydrating, shimmery nude gloss. Lips appear slightly more full without any tingling or stinging. If only the texture wasn’t so gritty and the sparkles didn’t migrate everywhere. WHAT I LIKE: * Applicator - flexible, curved doe-foot applicator with pointed tip makes for easy & smooth application. The curved shaped allows the product to easily follow the natural curvature and contour of the lips and evenly deposit color in a single pass. * Color - the shade Sparkling Dawn is a pretty, soft, neutral, shimmery nude. These types of shades can often wash me out but this one does not; it’s quite pretty. * Glossy, lacquer-like finish but not goopy, with slight shimmer (but see below) * Lips feel hydrated, moisturized * Lips appear more plump, without any tingling or stinging AREA(S) FOR IMPROVEMENT: * Although the sparkle effect on my lips looked more shimmery than glittery 👍🏼, a good amount of the shimmer particles did migrate and can be a challenge to remove without also taking off your makeup. 👎🏼 * Would be nice if the texture and finish were smooth. The sparkles/glitter feel gritty, noticeably so, and this gritty texture can be felt for a good hour after application. * The sparkles are noticeable on the lips after the color has faded away and the gloss has worn off (about 3-4 hours without eating or drinking) FYI: * Unscented, for the most part. The first couple of uses gave off a slightly rubber/plastic-like scent but I only picked up on it the first couple of uses. After that, no detectable scent. * There’s a certain amount of stickiness to it but it’s not overwhelming and it’s not gooey or goopy. BUY, BUY, BUY 🛍️ or BYE-BYE 👋🏼?: * This is a tough one. I have a hard time finding a neutral nude shade that doesn’t wash me out and this is a gorgeous color. I love the glossy shine on this one but the gritty texture and fallout of the glitter though sadly makes this a pass for me. BYE-BYE 👋🏼😞
