My New Must Have Hair Care Product

This product is amazing. It’s foamy and helps me both style my hair and the volume is incredible. The texture is great and it doesn’t feel heavy it feels weightless. I really recommend this! It’s something I didn’t know I needed! And love!

Great for adding volume

Color Wow’s Xtra Large Bombshell Volumizer is helpful when I want to add volume to my hair. As the instructions and other reviewers note, it does perform better when applied in sections. I appreciate that it doesn’t cause any greasiness or filminess, and I do not detect much of a scent. The texture is kind of a watery foam, and it’s easy to apply evenly. After styling my hair, I notice that it seems fuller and more voluminous as well as less frizzy. Although my hair seems slightly more difficult to brush out after using it and a tad drier, that’s the case with all volumizing products for me because my hair is fine and somewhat damaged. Overall, it’s an effective product for increasing volume, and I also appreciate the added benefit of heat protection. I received this product as a free sample to review.

Definitely better products out there

I'm sure this works okay if you don't get a dud of a bottle! The product comes out runny/watery, not at all like a foam, which is what I'm assuming it is supposed to be? I am definitely not "Wow'd" by the performance of this product, and it is likely too late to return.

Blowout staple

I really like this product. I have very fine, straight hair. I use this along with the color wow carb product and it gives me more bounce and volume!

This stuff smells like a portapotty! I tried using it on dry hair like I saw some folks doing online and because it isn't getting absorbed with water, it just sits on the hair and the smell is awful. In addition, though it gives some hold after styling with heat, it does leave hair crunchy. I tried it on wet hair too, and I didn't really see a difference in volume. Definitely not worth walking around smelling like I got shoved face first into a portapotty.

provides great volume, and stays in place! Yet, you can comb or brush through your hair & style again.

I’m always looking for volumizing products for my fine, thin hair. This works GREAT!! I apply about 5 pumps to wet hair on the top of my head (short shag with long layers on top) then blow dry right with a brush right away. My hair looks full and smooth, but not dull, crunchy, or coated feeling like it is with some foam volumizers. It really works well. For even more volume, I use ColorWow Raise the Root on my roots. I hope they never stop making this because it’s awesome!

 First of all the pump broke after one use. Didn't increase my volume whatsoever. Plenty of other options on the market save your money. Don't buy this one.

Disappointed, I so wanted this product to do what the viral videos promise. It didn’t work for me at all and only made my hair feel like I hadn’t washed it for 3 days.

Finally a hair brand worth reordering from

I’ve tried a TON of hair products (you should see my bathroom cabinets 🤦🏻‍♀️) and typically I’m not really “wowed” but I actually really like this. I first ordered the tiny bottle, which still lasted a really long time, and came back to order the full size. And I rarely ever reorder hair products. I’ve found that I have better results the more product I use, but unlike most products, you can use a significant amount and it doesn’t make your hair feel sticky or crunchy or dirty. Even when I use a lot my hair still looks clean for days. Gives great volume and provides a little hold when styling. 10/10

I’ve repurchased this numerous times. I have thin, fine hair. It adds body, but doesn’t weigh hair down.

Used it and my hair went flat. A regular mousse does a better job.
