Nice and clean

I have fine, easily tangled, dry and damaged hair. My review for this product is mostly positive. Things I noticed were that the product lathers well and a little goes a long way. I am not an everyday hair washer so my first use I did a single wash, and my next use I did a double wash which is my normal. I do not feel a double wash is needed, my hair felt clean both ways. I shed a lot in the shower and I did notice less fallout with this product. My only negative experience was that after drying my hair, although it felt softer, it felt heavy at first, almost like there was still product in my hair. After a rest period from the blow dryer, this feeling did go away. Perhaps a reaction with the heat from the blow dryer? My hair does feel cleaner longer with this product than my normal shampoo. I have been using this for 6 years now. I can’t imagine using anything else! So thankful my hairdresser introduced me to this product! I use the shampoo, conditioner and leave in conditioner.

Underwhelming

I've been using the Nº.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo from Olaplex for a while now, and unfortunately, it's not been the miracle worker I was hoping for. As someone with dry, damaged hair, I was excited to try a product that promised to repair and maintain bonds. While the shampoo does a great job of cleaning my hair, I haven't noticed any significant improvements in terms of repair or bond maintenance. My hair still feels dry and brittle, and I haven't seen a noticeable reduction in breakage. The formula is gentle and sulfate-free, which is a plus, but it's not particularly impressive in terms of moisturizing or nourishing my hair. I've had to use additional products to get the moisture and hydration my hair needs. Perhaps my expectations were too high, or this product just isn't suited to my hair type. Either way, I wouldn't recommend the Nº.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo to those with very dry or damaged hair. There are other products on the market that might be more effective for specific hair concerns.

Lasts ages

a little goes a long way so this bottle of shampoo really lasts. I feel it works best when using every other wash (I use the Elvive hyaluronic acid shampoo in between), I can really see the health of my hair improving

Amazing shampoo

I absolutely love this shampoo. It lathers extremely well and it makes it easy to wash every inch of your hair with a small amount of product. It has a nice scent and the packaging is very simple and easy to recognize. I really appreciate simple packaging as it makes it easy to locate the brand in stores and read what the product is truly about. This shampoo is a little on the pricey end but in my opinion, it is totally worth it. It repairs any damage you have and strengthens hair even if it’s already strong. It livens up and volumizes your hair as well. I truly would recommend this shampoo to anyone. I started this hair journey with thinning hair and this has truly improved my mood and appearance.

Expect smoother, shinier, stronger hair that just feels healthier overall.

My hair type is medium density, wavy/curly, and I typically have an oily scalp but my ends feel so dry and it’s prone to frizz. Before using Olaplex Shampoo my hair felt dull and slightly brittle from heat styling because I always tend to wear my hair straight. I was struggling with dryness, split ends, and frizz, especially on humid days! While using Olaplex N4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo consistently for 7 days, I have to say that the shampoo lathers into a rich, creamy foam without stripping! The scent is very clean and subtle, and not overpowering at all, which I loved! After 7 days of using this product my hair is noticeably softer, shinier, and more manageable. It looks and feels healthier. I love it so much!! I have noticeably less frizz and more bounce to my natural hair. My split ends look less noticeable too, and my strands feel stronger. I’ve received compliments on how healthy my hair looks and I couldn’t agree more! The results are truly visible and my hair feels revived!! My final thoughts on this amazing product: if hair needs repair, hydration, and overall bond support, this shampoo delivers. It’s really salon-level care at home and perfect for anyone dealing with damage or dryness. Highly recommend!!!
