It opens with fresh citrus and bergamot notes, followed by spicy pepper and warm woody accents, creating a clean yet deep aroma. I especially love how it sounds on them — confident, elegant, and very masculine, but still fresh and modern!

Attention grabbing cologne

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I’m a woman and when I sprayed Dior Sauvage Eau de Parfum on my man, I have to say he smelled really good. It has this bold, fresh spicy opening that really grabs attention, and the warm, slightly woody dry down gives it a confident and masculine feel. It lasts a long time so you definitely get good wear out of it but that also means you don’t need to over spray it just a couple of sprays are enough because it’s strong and projects quite well. This scent feels vibrant, which makes it great for cooler weather/fall and winter are really when it shines best, though I’ve also noticed it works for evening occasions in spring. In the heat of summer it can be a bit too heavy for my personal taste. Versatility wise, it’s pretty solid it works for casual days out, date nights, and even more dressed up occasions, but it leans more toward everyday bold rather than soft and understated. That said, while I do think it smells good and enjoy it on him, it’s not my personal favorite. I tend to prefer calmer, quieter fragrances with a softer vibe not because Sauvage is bad, but simply because I like gentler more subtle scents. Still, if you want a long lasting, attention getting scent that feels modern and masculine, it’s definitely worth trying so if you’re looking for a good cologne for your man I say get this.

THE classic Dior fragrance

While popular and wearable, it’s common in prevalence. Great value if you want a bold, long-lasting signature scent, but less exciting for collectors seeking uniqueness.

Long lasting intoxication masculine scent

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Sauvage by Dior is a well recognized Parfum that smells smooth and rich with bergamot with hints of amber and sultry vanilla. You only need to apply a light spritz as the scent attaches to fabric and the smell lasts for hours. The powerful and modern scent is well loved and recognized so if a unique fragrance is what you are after - this isn’t it. I find it’s a very versatile scent that can go from day to night but would caution wearing it when in close quarters as the scent can be too powerful for some with scent sensitivity.

Not bad, but doesn't compare to the elixir.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I tried three: eau de toilette, eau de parfum, and elixir. The toilette was the weakest, not just in strength (the scent essentially disappeared in the dry down) but in uniqueness. It smelled like essentially your run-of-the-mill discount store perfume. The parfum was still relatively mild but had more personality. It wouldn't last all day. The elixir, on the other hand, was strong across the board. It had hints of what seemed like pine and mint, giving it a holiday aesthetic in my opinion. It's not a daily wear scent, but it's certainly a signature. In short, if you want your money's worth and a great signature scent, choose another Dior product. If you want a barely-there daily-wear that wafts under the radar, save your money and get a much cheaper department store parfum.

A must-have cologne

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Not overwhelmingly strong for cologne but still smells amazing. Smell lasts the whole day and get many compliments when wearing it. Love the warm and fresh yet strong scent the cologne gives. I highly recommend this cologne for everyone.

Musky scent, great for occasions

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This has a really nice smell, I would say it’s musky and earthy. I had my boyfriend wear it and he liked it, and he said he would save it for occasions instead of daily wear because it’s an elevated, strong, long-lasting smell. I think it’s definitely a masculine, earthy scent and I’d recommend for someone who wants a well-mixed scent for occasions where you’d want to show it off.

On rotation!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This is one of my husbands favorite cologne. He loves the longevity of it and how it does will with his ph balance. He continuously repurchases it and is a holy grail in his collection. The notes are: CRISP CALABRIAN BERGAMOT, SENSUAL VANILLA ABSOLUTE and EARTHY PATCHOULI. Amazing scent overall!

not for me, a bit much.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Initially the smell is enticing and I was drawn to the woody scent it has but over time I found it overwhelming and almost nauseating. that might be a preference thing and maybe a good thing for other people since I think it lasts a long time! I wouldn’t say that it’s a unique smell as I have smelt many other colognes that smell similar to this one.

Manly heaven

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This is the ultimate masculine scent. It’s just what you imagine when you think of a hot guy lol. It’s strong in the best way and wears amazingly. You’ll smell it on clothes for days after. It projects and you’ll definitely get people asking what you’re wearing. I would say the scent profile is pretty accurate, it’s a perfect blend of a fresh, spicy (not overly) and woody scent. And as you wear it, the spice dies down and becomes a nice fresh woody light yet complex scent.

Classic Scent

Dior Sauvage smells amazing. Creamy vanilla citrus with a wood touch. 100% luxury. To me unisex. Last a long time. Some perfumes make me sneeze when sprayed this did not.
