I’ve been using this product for about 2 years now and all i can say is OMG it’s always in my nighttime skincare routine. it dries my breakouts out but not my skin. it also helped with some of my acne scars!! overall it’s an amazing product and i definetly recommend.

Good product, but real buyer reviews matter!

I really appreciate The Ordinary’s focus on transparency and science-led skincare, which is why I’m sharing this feedback. One feature that would make reviews far more useful is the ability to filter reviews by whether a product was gifted or purchased. As a buyer, the most helpful and trustworthy insights for me come from people who actually paid for the product and used it without any incentive. Influencer and gifted reviews have their place, but they tend to dominate the review section, which means you often have to scroll through a lot of similar, overly positive feedback to get to the real, balanced experiences from everyday customers. A simple filter (e.g. “Verified purchase only” or “Gifted vs Purchased”) would massively improve the review experience and align well with The Ordinary’s values of honesty and informed decision-making. I’d genuinely find that incredibly helpful when deciding what to buy next. This is a decent niacinamide product, but for my combination skin I’m curious whether the Niacinamide Face & Body Emulsion will be a better match. Giving that a try next.
