Stays on, but fragile product.

Gorgeous color, stays on all day especially set over liquid eyeliner, even with hooded eyes. HOWEVER, the product is soft and the tip breaks off with almost no pressure applied (there is an overhang of the tapered tip when the product is new, and it cuts the tip of the product off) and works best with the liner barely sticking out of the tube.

Amazing colour - amazing longevity!

Bought this yesterday as my daughter tried in store and it looked amazing! The pigmentation of this incredible green made her blue eyes really pop! She wore it all day and no smudge no movement - lasted over 12 hours! It’s special enough to spice up any make up look but also just be worn on its own for that pop! Highly recommend and will be getting the other colours!

Red Solstice stands out from the crowd because it’s unique. Out of the few brands that make multichrome pencil eyeliners, this is the only red one. I like it.

However, this is my very first encounter with a chameleon liner, and I am absolutely, wholeheartedly a huge fan! My new HGA!!

I was SO excited when I had opportunity to try the  STUNNING SEPHORA COLLECTION Colorful Special Effects Multichrome Eyeliner !This eyeliner may very well be my favorite liner EVER and this is overall my favorite eye makeup product of the year!   I always loved the nuances of duo and multi chromes but they were rarely available in anything other than nail polishes.  I have been thrilled to see them starting to roll out in various products recently but they usually seem to be the same shifts and variations but NOT THIS ONE.   I have yet to try the other ones but they look amazing.  What I CAN say is that the color "Red Solstice"is HG level!  It shifts from all shades of red such as dark burgundy red, to a true metallic red, then the same with copper, gold, orange and even hints of green! I tried to catch the shifts in pictures and video but they do not do them the justice this liner deserves!   In addition to the stunning color, this goes on super smoothly and precisely.  It stays on all day on the eyes and I even tried it as lip liner which was just WOW but note I do not know if that is approved or just my pushing the envelope!   Words cannot express how enamored I am of this one and it will have to be a constant staple in my makeup bag. Game Changer for Creative Looks!

As a makeup artist, I'm always on the hunt for products that push creative boundaries and Sephora’s 12H Colorful Special Effects Multichrome Eyeliner in Red Solstice did not disappoint. This was my first time trying a multichrome liner, and now I’m fully obsessed! The way it glides on so effortlessly with zero tugging is impressive, and the pigment payoff is chef's kiss. The color shift in Red Solstice is stunning fiery, bold, and dimensional making it perfect for both editorial and high-impact creative looks. I’ve already used it on the lids for a statement graphic eye and in the waterline for a subtle pop that still turns heads. It’s long-wearing, easy to work with, and adds instant artistry to any look. I'm already planning to collect more shades this is a kit essential moving forward. If you love playing with color or want to elevate your artistry, don’t sleep on these!

Fun pop!

This Sephora Collection 12H Colorful Special Effects Multichrome Eyeliner in Red Solstice is a cool addition to the brand's lineup. These pencils are super dimensional and pretty easy to work with. I appreciate the twist up packaging and the product itself is fine pointed to get a precise application. I don't find this formula to be ultra creamy so it does take a little effort to apply. I noticed if I try to blend it out, some of the multichrome effect loses its impact. I think these are fun for a pop of interest especially on the lower lash line line as I have demonstrated in my photo. I don't think these are the perfect holy grail type of eyeliner for me personally but they are fairly priced compared to other brands putting out multichrome releases which makes trying this trend much more accessible.

Color is Gorgeous

I am so very torn about this product. So let’s start off with the positive feedback first. The shade is so amazing the multi chrome looks so stunning. It’s red orange brown and when in different light it has dark tones to it so it looks like a normal dark liner. I love the buttery texture it had when applying. I like that it is smudged proof and long wear. There is time to manipulate it before it dries down. Now here is the downside. I’m not sure if I got just a purely defective one but here is what happened. I go to open it and twist it up just a little bit to see the color and then I twist down so I can grab my mirror and get ready to use it. The next time I go to twist it to use it and the mechanical part just stops working, the liner will not go up anymore. I was so confused what was going on. Then I just decided to take it apart because I was determined to use this liner. Once I got it apart I was shocked to see how much liner was in it. It looked completely empty besides a tiny piece. Like I said I’m not sure if this was just purely defective to the amount of product that was in it to the mechanical part not working. It sucks that I had to use a brush to apply because I think it would have been fun and easier to use if it worked properly. But I do think the formula and color are truly amazing. If the packaging gets fixed and more product is inserted then I’d definitely recommend but as of now it’s a no. This product was provided for promotional purposes in exchange for my honest review,

Love the color!

The formula combines silica, trimethylsiloxysilicate, dimethicone, microcrystalline wax, aluminum powder, titanium dioxide, and other conditioning agents that give it a creamy texture with a metallic sheen. It glides smoothly without tugging and sets quickly, which is great for blending if you work fast. The retractable packaging is practical. Red Solstice has a red-to-bronze shift that looks striking in good lighting, but some users find the color payoff a bit muddy and the tip prone to breaking, which can be frustrating. Longevity is generally good, with up to 12 hours of wear, and it holds up against humidity and minor water exposure, though in very hot weather it may soften or smudge slightly. Removal takes some effort due to its waterproof nature. Overall, it’s a fun, bold eyeliner with solid staying power, but the shade Red Solstice can be hit or miss depending on expectations and application technique. Not waterproof for me!

When I first opened this and saw it was a red shade, I was a bit sad! I don't do much red, but then to get a red eyeliner. Nonetheless I was going to be trying the formula. I was in awe when I swatched it. The color is gorgeous, In some lighting it's a gorgeous goldish red, but in other lighting it is so shifty and you can see orange, and green. The formula is soft, and glides on smooth. It's a tad too soft, that it will ball some of it up once in awhile. You do have to be careful that you don't put too much pressure when applying. When I had the swatch on my hand, it didn't come off or smear at all! Even when I tried to rub it off, it didn't budge. Now on my eyes, I forgot I was wearing it. I rubbed my eye and when I looked in the mirror, part of it was smeared. I didn't have any liquid on my hand when I rubbed my eye. I would say it is not waterproof! It's so odd, the swatch on my hand stayed forever, but then one rub to the eye and it smeared! If you don't touch your eyes, it will be fine. I still think it is pretty, it's dramatic. I like the effect it gives.
