Café Rose - Eau de Parfum

To me this smells musty, sharp, and overpowering like someone trying to cover up body odors. Reminiscent of urine on a street corner where you catch wafts of cheap incense. Vile.

This perfume does not PLAY!

I’ve been on the hunt for a “date” night perfume. The first spritz-you definitely get a smokey incense (spice), followed by powerful rose notes from the Turkish rose behind it. The more you smell it-the more (floral) it gets. My grandmother wore Tresor, and I feel like this is a modern version of that but better. I highly recommend this perfume to be worn selectively. Special occasions for sure. It’s not an everyday scent. The perfume ✨IS✨ the moment.

Old lady in church smell

To me it smells like an old lady in church. I love Tom Ford but this is not my jam. I like more spicy, and woody. I don’t smell coffee in this at all.

Reminded me of 1982, gave me a headache.

Looked forward to this after the reviews, but it’s more lace curtain & vinyl sofa covers from the 70s & 80s than “rich old lady”. Very much bath oil pearls meets Avon & pink rose shaped soaps.

Nice. Not too "rosey."

I'm not typically a rose scent person. This fragrance starts off very strong, but dries down to a beautiful light floral. I add one spritz of single note vanilla perfume, and it's quite lovely. Good longevity. As others have stated, I do not get any coffee. That's actually a good thing to me. Beautiful bottle as to be expected from Tom Ford.

that new car smell

I really loved this at first, but the longer I wore it the more it smelled like that new car fragrance/air freshener. it could just be my body chemistry but I'm definitely getting leather and rose. I love leather scents.. ombre leather is one of my favorites... but this one isn't bottle worthy to me.

A scent for all occasions

Beautiful bottle! I was excited to open this perfume and smell it as I have read great things about it!! At first it smells like roses with a hint of coffee. At the end of the day I also smelled a note of coconut. Maybe that’s because I wear coconut lotion I’m not sure. But the scent stayed into the next day even after showering. It’s great for date night or even on your way to work.

Very deep and heavy scent but pretty

I would not wear this on myself, but it is not bad. In fact it had me contemplating if I could transition to this deep of a scent. I am a very light scent lover. I like a clean aqua and floral scent or aqua and citrus, sometimes I like a little raspberry or lychee to sweeten things up. This did however remind me of hugging my nana. She always had a more pleasant smell than her sisters. I liked it because it brought me back to having coffee with my nana in the garden in Mexico. I like citrus things because it reminds me of sitting under the orange trees in her yard and this one gave me a similar nostalgia.

Rose/Coffee notes pair nicely!

I was thoroughly surprised because when I read the fragrance notes, I just knew this was going to smell bad. Nope! You get the rose smell at first. Then as it settles, you smell the coffee. I love it!

If mixed feelings were a perfume. Sometimes i feel like a boss girly sometimes a grandma. Everyone compliments but I get why people think it’s an old lady perfume

Smells good

This perfume is strong! A little goes along way with this one if you are sensitive to smell I wouldn’t recommend this perfume top Notes you smell is rose long lasting for sure I pare it with a sweeter scent

This is a really pretty, quality rose scent. I don’t get much coffee, and if I didn’t know the name of this fragrance I wouldn’t necessarily be looking for it in the first place. It’s good for the office and linear—what I smelled when I first applied was more or less what I smelled at the end of the day. And it did last until the end of the day on my skin, and longer on fabric. Compared to the other roses in my collection: Feels more serious than Serge Lutens La Fille de Berlin, less green than Diptyque L’Ombre dans l’Eau, and a bit more wearable than Coco Mademoiselle EDP, which I love but need to do a mental rundown of my day before spraying.
