This product is awful. I wish I could give it zero stars. It made my greasy and unmanageable.

Changed formula

Used to love this conditioner before they changed the formula without notice. It used to be a really thick consistency and felt like it was actually doing the job it claims. Now it’s a much thinner and more liquid consistency and I notice it’s not moisturizing or protecting my hair. Really bummed that K18 changed the formula. Two bottles have been the same more liquid consistency and I’m weary to buy another for fear it’s going to be the same issue.

Did they recently change their formula??

Not sure if they recently changed their formula but it leaves my hair feeling dry and frizzy now. It also just feels so watered down. I’ve been using k18 for years so not sure if it was a bad batch or formula change but I had to return it.

Will repurchase.

Very lightweight but deeply hydrating. Smells neutral. Detangles hair very easily & rinses easily. Plus I love that it’s silicone free, so you don’t have to worry about buildup. I also noticed my hair was more manageable after using the damage shield line from k18.

A must-have

I always have a few shampoos in my shower and this is always a staple. I have oily hair so when I really want my hair to be extra clean but not striped, I use this.

I wanted to love this product because I know K18 products are amazing. Unfortunately, this shampoo gave me very bad neck rashes. I tried laying off of it to see if my rashes would go away, and it did. I used it again and then my rashes came back.

On the fence….

I feel like this helps my hair but it irritates my scalp! I try not to get the lather on the scalp but alas it happens. Even my stylist of 20 years noticed my scalp looks irritated when I use this. Unfortunate.

I’ve been using this brand for almost two years now, and I feel compelled to write a review. While the product is a bit on the pricey side, it’s absolutely worth every penny! The bottles last a long time since just a small amount lathers up beautifully. I use heat on my hair nearly every day and also have bleached highlights, yet I don’t have a single split end. Honestly, this stuff is amazing — you should definitely give it a try!

Works for my fine 4C highly porous hair!

I have struggled for YEARS to find a shampoo that doesn't dry out my hair but also cleanses my scalp properly. I'm black and have very fine porous kinky hair texture that is prone to breakage. I also suffered from dry scalp and buildup that just seemed to never quite go away. I was skeptical of using such an expensive shampoo, but had nothing to lose. This gives enough slip and leaves my hair feeling clean but not stripped. It actually makes finger de-tangling easy in the shower, which is something I have never experienced with a shampoo prior to using this one! If you have hair that can benefit from extra protein, I highly recommend this. And for my fellow kinky coily girls with the airy fluffy fros, give this a try!!!! I also recommend K18 detox shampoo for heavier buildup followed up by the K18 leave in mask.

Recommend for Bleached Curls

I was advised to purchase this by my hairdresser after adding blonde highlights to my naturally curly hair. Despite the high price I’m glad I did as it’s really helped the condition of my curls post bleaching.
