Masculine scent for winter days

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This perfume felt strongly masculine and it stayed on for the most of the day. The scent is woody and fresh at the same time. I think it would be good for winter days, as the smell is pretty rich. Not my favorite, but I think it’s good value

Worth it!

The bottle is a small sample size, but with the strength of this cologne it lasted a very long time. Very convenient to take on trips and smells amazing. I would definitely buy the bigger version of it, once my sample runs out.

It smells fine but its similar to other generic designer fragrances. I cant smell much coffee, its mostly a very woody citrus cologne and doesn’t stand out. I mostly smell just the guaiac wood, lemon and some sweetness from the vanilla. It reminds me of resin/myrrh.

D&G failed on this one. It smelled like old aftershave and gave me an instant headache. Definitely skip this scent. Hard pass. 🤢 no no no no no no no

Bold

Bold and refined, Devotion delivers a crisp lemon-coffee opening that evolves into rich woods and amber. Projection is strong in the first few hours, and I got solid longevity well past six hours on skin. The scent profile walks the line between daring and wearable. definitely one to enjoy when you want to be noticed for all the right reasons

Burnt artisanal lavender coffee, I fear

I haven’t smelled any of the other Devotions before (or if I have, I don’t remember them), just as an FYI… Opens with a burst of lavender (hate!) that is screechy and synthetic. I don’t enjoy lavender (far too ubiquitous in men’s fragrances and I also simply don’t like it), and doubly-so here. Off to a bad start. + some citrus? But that might honestly just be the soapy presentation of an aromatic, which so often renders them akin to cleaning products. But then the coffee steps in, and it’s the vapors of a fresh pot— not the beans or grinds, but a softly steaming batch you’ve just poured for yourself. It warms it up and gracefully sidesteps the lavender that kept my jaw clenched and my nose itchy…but nevertheless, the lavender persisted. Why? I almost saw the light :( There’s a vaguely-golden, amber hue to the scent by the end of it, but it’s nothing transformative. In fact, the amber’s marriage to the coffee darkens it to the point where it’s almost chocolate, but the kind of chocolate that reminds me of that old Axe spray, “Dark Temptation.” Alas, not for me. But it performs pretty well and lasts a good bit.

Fuerza inicial pero se desinfla paulatinamente

Perfume con una proyección mixta, inicialmente fuerte pero a medida que pasa el tiempo desaparece en la piel más rápido de lo que esperaba, la fuerza de la fragancia es moderada, con toques de lavanda, café y madera de ámbar. Por otro lado la versatilidad del perfume tiene una tendencia clara a climas fríos y situaciones formales pero no prolongadas, ya que como se comenta desaparece en la piel rápidamente, finalmente el packaging es en mi caso una muestra de prueba por lo que no podemos decir nada sobre el real que parece elaborado.
