I can’t believe the reviews aren’t better! I’m a 42 year old woman with combination leaning to oily skin. Makeup tends to pool on my face by the end of the day and it always feels heavy. I’ve tried everything high end. Ive desperately trying to replace the OLD Dior backstage. The reformulation is terrible! This is the closest thing I have found to the old formula. It’s thin but with great coverage. Radiant matte. Feels like skin. The Dior stick felt like there was lotion on my face all day. Anyway if your nature with oily skin definitely try this! spent thousands on makeup. I thought I found my holy grail with the Dior stick but it’s just too moisturizing. Wore this to a concert and it lasted until I got back at home at 1AM. I had very slight shine on my forehead, but nothing that a little touch up with powder couldn’t fix. If you have normal skin, I would definitely give it a shot!

Have been using this product for last 6 years. Can’t switch to any other brand! It’s flawless and the best.

I ordered this Mattie foundation because of the reviews people had left. I really like it. My skin is really oily so Mattie is a must ! It feels like I don’t have hardly any foundation on great coverage. I would definitely order again. 

Bring old formulation back

Bring the old formulation back! It was perfect. This new formulation turns cake after an hour or so.

This foundation has a lightweight texture with solid, buildable coverage and a long-wearing, waterproof matte finish. It’s ideal for those who want a flawless, stay-in-place base—especially for long days or events. However, it’s not a product I personally reach for. While I respect the formula, it tends to settle into fine lines and creases throughout the day, especially around the eyes and smile lines. The finish is more matte than I typically like, so it just ends up sitting in my beauty collection.

High quality

It’s a long lasting foundation which looks amazing! I like natural finish, so I don’t apply full coverage. However, I think people who love full glam will love this foundation too because it can give them that coverage. Unfortunately , the shade I chose was too light and too pink for me, but I managed to fix it by mixing the foundation with Saie super gel in darker shade. This synergy looks gorgeous!

Always a good product but for more of a heavier coverage for me! I can never get matched on another brand/color.

Disappointed! It looks horrible and gave me acne. It's nothing like the old formula. Don't waste your money.

10/10 I would definitely tell a friend . I get so many compliments on my complexion when I wear this foundation. I have super long days and it perfect for that as well. Skin like all day 😘

Holy Grail of Foundation

I'm a combo skin type and mainly choose a matte finish BUT most of them are too dry or cakey. I used Makeup Forever a long time ago and decided to go back. I'm so glad I did, the finish is perfection. Coverage is perfect without drying my skin, looking cakey and I still have a bit of a natural look.
