Super convenient

I'm a eyeshadow stick person so wanted to try this out. After using this a few times, I really like it! It takes the guess work out of palettes and is pretty fool proof, just apply and blend each layer as you put it on :)

Easy and quick

Quickest application ever! I apply the cream all over (decent layer) gently blend with my finger and shadow over the top on edges-2 mins and brilliant.

Poor application and lasting results

I had wanted to buy a replace for my chubby stick eyeshadow. No longer availableÖ I was persuaded to buy the dual ended Shadow Play . BIG mistake Despite being very careful with the soft Shadow part it fell apart and the whole part was wasted. The powder shadow end was difficult to use as it needed repeated use to gain any colour. The colour choices were poor. Extremely poor value. Won't buy again Please bring back Chubby Sticks .

Bring back the Chubby stick

This is nowhere near as good as the chubby stick was. Doesn't last anywhere near as long, and the liner bit doesn't get used as much.

This replacement of the chubby stick is just not cutting it! It hadn't lasted anywhere near as long so works out so much more expensive and I don't really use the other end!

The creamy shadow stick end is good, the definer is a waste

I was recommended this product by a make-up tech at the counter as a replacement for my Ample Amber chubby stick as it had sadly been discontinued. The only usable end of this new product is the creamy eyeshadow stick and it's even that more difficult to use than the chubby stick and harder to blend. The smaller size of eyeshadow stick compared to the chubby stick makes the product in the new eyeshadow stick more difficult to apply. Once on, however, the color was nice and the product had long-wear power. The definer powder end of the new product was incredibly hard to use, patchy, and didn't last. It first of all, it was difficult to get enough color on the sponge and one has to keep screwing the cap back on and off to get the color to deposit, then second of all, it applied to the eye lid very patchy. No amount of reapplication or blending could get it to not look patchy. Not even the tech could make it look good on the eye. It looked reasonable when swatched and rubbed in on the back of a hand, but it did not work on the skin of the eye at all (at least for 40-somethings). It was very patchy and defined every fine line I knew I had as well as uncovering and highlighting every fine line I didn't even know I had! This is simply not a good product. Only half the product is actually usable and it doesn't make sense to pay so much to only be able to use half! Furthermore, I would also like to point out that the chubby stick was an accessible product, whether Clinique knew it or not. I have a disability that makes using my hands difficult and the size of the chubby stick made using it so easy for me, not to mention the incredible, easily blendable formula. It took me about .02 seconds to apply it and look and feel amazing. It's sad to see accessible products get discontinued. I would urge Clinique to consider bringing back the chubby sticks, even if only in one or two colours. Not only was the design of the chubby stick great, but so too was the formula.

Lovely colour, stays put

I purchased this item at the recommendation of the Clinique Consultant during a For Makeup Consultation. The colours are lovely and last well. Unfortunately the creamy shadow end fell out after only six or so uses. I now have to be very careful when taking the cap off that I do not lose it.
