Not what i hoped for...

I did not read the reviews first. Bummer. It bothers me more that by the end of the day it had balled up in little splotches all over my face. It is very fine, maybe I used too much?

Yes better than MUFE HD!

I had been going back & forth on whether to commit to MUFE HD powder or this 1 & they have always been compared & competition between them. Ultimately I decided on Nars given 1. My skin tone is tan/medium & MUFE isn’t “translucent” it’s “white” Nars is truly translucent. 2. MUFE changed the “tone” of my foundation where as Nars did not. 3. MUFE was a tad bit more blurring but it changed my foundation, so the more blur wasn’t an improvement. 4. The blurring with Nars was just as impressive while keeping my foundation tone in tact. 5. The “radiant” description was throwing me off with Nars cause it’s not really radiant, it leaves a “natural” finish but I don’t get a glow or anything but maybe it has to do with the foundation as I use natural to matte foundations & I don’t want a “glow” from my setting powder. 6. Lastly price, both I feel are too expensive but MUFE more so & I don’t see the justification for it. So between the 2, Nars won however Chanel will always be my HG but the package is so big that I needed a powder with a smaller container to travel with.

Yes to the powder

I love this powder because of how well it sets my makeup. I use a big fluffy brush and very lightly dust a thin layer where I don't want shine, which is usually my tzone and chin. I don't think you should try to "bake" with this. It's very mattifying, you only need a tiny bit. that's probably why they packaged it with a fabric sieve, so we don't dip the brush directly in the powder. a little goes a long way. I think it does magic blurring pores and smoothing the look of foundation. It lasts forever until I take it off.

I wish the old version still existed!

I absolutely loved the loose powder that NARS had years ago! It was the best powder ever! I am just realizing now that they don't have the same loose powder that they used to have. I cannot comment on how this works because I have not used it. But I am so disappointed to find that the loose powder of the past no longer exists. I suppose I'll have to give the new version a whirl to see if the texture and finish is the same. But I feel like the range of colors is so limited now. I feel like it used to have an extensive range. And the finish was amazing. My clients would look at themselves and every flaw was blurred. I'll report back after I try the current version.

This was recommended to me by a family member and I love it! It minimizes the oil on my t-zone while keeping my makeup shiny. I will 100% repurchase and I recommend it to everyone!

Holy grail product

This is it. 10/10 look no further. I have VERY sensitive combo skin (used to be oily and acne prone but after accutane it leans more combo-normal). I have perioral dermatitis and rosacea so my skin hates most products and I can’t use anything containing sulfates. I’ve tried SO many powders—Laura Mercier (looked too cakey), bare minerals (made my foundation do weird things underneath), dermablend (actually decent), hourglass (just no.), ELF (fine but makeup breaks up by afternoon)—and nothing comes close to this. I have large pores in my T-zone and this blurs them so beautifully without making my face look matte. I like to bake with it a little bit on and around my nose and then lightly buff it out and it almost fills my pores, but in a flawless blurring way, not clogging. It never feels cakey and it doesn’t highlight texture or disrupt my foundation. The ONLY downsides for me are the price—it’s the only one I like so I use it daily, and the packaging, but only because I like to do a little baking with it so it’s a little difficult and messy to get the amount of product I want out of it. If it’s ever discontinued I don’t know if I’ll survive.

Not for me

I really wanted to love this powder I gave it a few tries with a few different primers/foundations and applicators and it just settled into my smiles lines and nasal folds so badly. The one good thing I did like was how finely milled it is.
