Lip Cheat Pillow Talk Medium

Pillow Talk Medium was ordered by myself in the quest to find my perfect lipliner which sadly does not exist and has now been discontinued (or at least adapted) by Charlotte Tilbury. Their original ‘Pillow Talk original’ was purchased by myself possibly 6 years ago and in this time they have altered the colours. I searched and searched to get the almost identical shade and based on the colour of the top of the pencil, the tip and the scribble on the website, I came to Pillow Talk Medium. Unfortunately it’s just a tad darker in tone and not as bright as the first PT original. On my lips it’s nice but the tone blends into my lip line and kind of makes it duller looking so for my brown lips it’s ok but not outstanding. I found better success with the NEW PT original which is a light berry colour BUT it’s still not the same! Charlotte please bring back the original shade- re-name it even, but bring it back it was perfect!!

Lip Cheat Pillow Talk Intense

This is my favourite CT lipliner which I’ve used for years. The colour is perfect and is great for contouring but also can be blended into a brighter lipshade to give a really nice natural lip colour. I think it is particularly effective for Asian or black skin and if you have browner coloured lips. Particularly for these skin types I would recommend. Staying power is also good.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Absolutely staple piece everyone needs in their makeup bag. On my tan/olive skin tone Pillow Talk looks rosey pink and it add the perfect amount of color to my lips. Long lasting, smooth. Really great lip liner.

Cheap quality!

Irritating package the pencil quality is annoying and not worth the price. Should be put in a typical hair store or even taken off the market because the pencil doesn’t sharpen and keeps breaking off.

Great Formula, But Needs More Pigment ✏️

I was honestly expecting more pigmentation from the Charlotte Tilbury lip liner, so it did disappoint me a little. It is very creamy and comfortable, and it lasts for several hours when paired with the lipstick, which is great. However, for me, it doesn’t pigment enough on the lips. I have to go over them several times to get a good result, and because of that, I personally wouldn’t repurchase it. It’s nice, but I need more payoff. ✨
