Scent is obnoxious and overpowering.

Good enough but not great mask for my coarse, mixed porosity, thick curly hair. Didn't really do much for moisturizing or repairing, it felt the same to me prior to using it. But the scent is WAY over the top and smells like someone else's overpowering perfume. I had to wash it, twice, to get that smell out.

I have extremely fine blonde hair and it doesn’t make my hair look greasy- which all hair masks do. Love it and it smells amazing. It’s a very strong smell but I love it cause it lasts in my hair

I love this product! It smells great! a little goes a long way. I don't use much more than a blueberry size amount for shoulder length. I don't understand the bad reviews. I LOVE this hair mask. I washed my hair with some cheap old shampoo and conditioner. then applied this, let it sit a few minutes, and rinsed. made my hair so shiny and soft. i haven't had any issues at all with burns, skin, or hair loss. nothing but lovely, soft, shiny hair. I've used it several times now. no more than once or twice a week. It's amazing!

I love the metal detox hair mask and was hopping this would be similar if not as good. It’s not nearly the same. My regular Pantene conditioner is better, then what is the point of using hair mask?

Awful

My hair has been falling out for over a week since using this product. It first made my hair soft but it’s now super brittle and falling out after a single use. This product should be banned.

Burned?

This did make my hair feel a bit smoother and when my hair touched my back, my back was fine. What was weird is that two hairs slid across my arm (as seen in the picture) and left two super red lines that burned. I took this picture when I got out of the shower and the lines had faded and didn't burn anymore, but it was so weird I figured I shouldn't use it.

It did nothing. It didn't even smooth or soften my hair.

Wowza

Wow. I received a deluxe sample of this mask with an order a while back and just used it for the first time today. My hair has never been softer! I’m an athlete with long, fine hair and usually have to wash my hair and blow dry it daily due to oil and sweat buildup at my roots from rigorous workouts. My hair tends to be quite dry at the ends because of this. This mask softened my hair from roots to ends and doesn’t feel heavy or greasy at all. I personally don’t mind the smell though it is a bit strong. I should also add that I did not use this mask with the full system- I used the Ouai fine shampoo before towel drying my hair and applying. I combed the mask through my hair from roots to ends for about 2 minutes before rinsing and immediately blow drying. I’m really impressed with this product and will start incorporating it into my hair routine!!

The smell will make you vomit

The smell is HORRENDOUS!!!!!!! It filled my bathroom and my lungs. I couldn’t rinse it out fast enough. I cannot believe a company would sign off on this. It is so strong and overpowering. It smells like a dude mixed a whole bottle of axe and old spice and then sat outside on a hot summer day. I don’t care what it does for my hair.

Worth it

So everyone’s right…it smells bad. BUT I don’t think it’s as terrible as the majority of the comments make it seem. It’s just a strong, grandma perfume-y smell. It does linger once the hair is dry, but it’s pretty mild. And everyone’s right about how soft it makes your hair too! The pros outweigh the cons by a mile.

Real results!

The results I have recieved from this product have been nothing short of a hair-miracle! My hair is very damaged and dried out from over processing and chemicals. After one use, my hair literally felt like it had been completely revived. After a second use, I noticed my hair felt stronger and I had significant less breakage, not to mention the ultra softness and luxe feel to it. This product is high quality and it shows in the results! There are so many hair masks out there that promise results, but they just don't deliver.
