Wow! This palette is a total game-changer! The shade range is amazing—every soft neutral you could need, making it perfect for both everyday looks and glam nights out. The formulas are buttery smooth and blend like a dream. I love how pigmented the shadows are; a little goes a long way! Plus, they layer beautifully, which is a huge win when you’re trying to create depth in your eye looks. This is going to be my go to palette!

Gorgeous silky eyeshadows!! This has magnetic packaging that is sleek and luxurious. Pigmentation and blending lift is great. I love these colors for fall but also great neutrals for every day.

A Pallete With Promise; Mario's Master Mattes

I was eager to try Mario's Master Mattes palette, particularly the neutral shades, so I was a bit disappointed when I received the OG Neutral Palette instead. While it leans slightly warmer than I prefer, I was still excited to explore the buzz surrounding this collection. Mario claims the colors are inspired by global skin tones, aiming for versatility in creating neutral looks for everyone. The pigmentation is impressive—without being overly packed or cakey—allowing for a fresh, “clean makeup” appearance that highlights the skin beneath. The palette excels in providing buildable coverage; the more you layer, the more intensity you achieve, which is a significant advantage over many other matte shadows. However, I did notice considerable kickback in the pan when using natural hair brushes, though this didn’t detract from the shadow's impact. In contrast, synthetic brushes picked up less pigment and produced less kickback. Applying the shadows with fingers, as Mario suggests, worked well. Surprisingly, I experienced minimal creasing, likely due to my not-oily eyelids. However, I advise against using a moisturizing eyelid primer, as it made the application patchy. While lighter shades blended effortlessly, I found the deeper shades more challenging, leading to some patchiness. They worked well as liners, but achieving a cohesive smoky look required significant blending, leaving my eyelids feeling sensitive afterward. This inconsistency raises concerns about quality control, particularly for deeper skin tones. Given the competitive landscape of economic brands that offer better performance for all skin tones, I would hesitate to recommend this palette for those with deeper complexions. In a market saturated with neutral palettes, there's a need for high-quality performance paired with true inclusivity. While this palette shows promise, it has room for improvement to truly meet the diverse needs of all users.

Very sleek packaging, a good variety of shades and very good pigmentation! It is a bit too warm for my personal liking for an everyday wear but it blends very well and goes well for certain looks :)

I am really happy with this palette, although being very fair, many of the colors are pretty dark for me to use on a regular basis. There is minimal fallout, though, and they are relatively easy to blend.

A good staple palette!

I love the simple packaging of the product with the mirror included, which is good for on the go! My first impression is it’s a good basic eyeshadow palette especially for fall! I tend to veer to natural eyeshadow palettes myself. The pigmentation was pretty good! The shadow feels like butter going on! Very impressive. There is a bit of fall out, but I normally tap my brush before blending anyway. I do wish there was some pop of colors so you don’t need to pack multiple palettes for options, but overall a good staple everyday shadow! The blending was fairly easy.

Pigmentation on point!

This showed up very well on my skin! It blended well over my concealer! It was a lot of different fall shades which I love and just in time for the new season. The love that it comes with a mirror! I’m usually doing my make up at my work desk when I have to go somewhere after! So this was perfect! Enough shades for me to choose from as well!
