Essential Brush

This is absolutely a brush you cannot do without. First of all I love the construction of the brush. Love Makeupforever's brush handles, this fancy textured wood. The rounded edge of the bristles is so clean-cut and the hairs are so silky yet hold up stiffly.  I tested this on my abh subculture palette and it was able to achieve a number of goals: - The sharp flat edge is amazing for directly drawing and defining lines, perfect for that cut crease - The hairs are firm enough to pick up pure pigment, and lay them down exquisitely with no patchiness. - I go from dark to light in general so I had no problem blending  lighter and lighter shades over my deep darks. - The rounded edge is perfectly contoured to match all the curves of an eye The only possible downside and it really isn't as long as you can practice and get used to it, is it's slightly large, but then it's supposed to be, so it can do a lot of ground work swiftly. This is absolutely an essential brush and while other brands do also carry this traditional shape, I'm happy I decided on this.  If you're able to go and see these brushes in person at your local sephora(s), that's even better, as choosing brushes online can be a real hassle given how deceiving they can be in terms of size and quality. 

Well made but too flat for blending in the crease

This brush is a bit too flat and stiff for my eye contouring preference. It's almost in the family of a concealer brush. I wanted something fluffier, but bought it for the great curved shape. My makeup routine is low maintenance, so maybe if you have more time or skills for dramatic looks, this could be a good brush. Sadly, I returned it.

I love this brush for packing shadows onto the eyelid. Its so soft and amazing.

Difficult, but Decent

I bought this brush about a month ago after loosing my old main eyeshadow brush. When I went to the store I wanted something that would be more precise and I figured this brush could do the job, and it does. My issue is that it is often hard to get product on the brush. It just doesn't pick it up well. That to me matters just as much as how it applies, and so sadly I'm a bit disappointed with my purchase.

Great Quality Brush

I've become obsessed with MUFE's brushes, and this one is no different. It's soft, densely-packed, and feels great, even on the delicate eye area. This size is a little big for smaller lids--it's like using the top bit of your pinky to apply shadow. While it is a little large for getting cleanly around the crease and outside corner of the eye, this brush is made for all-over color application, not details, so no stars off. It's soft, and never once have I experienced that awful pricking that happens with some brushes when you pat eye shadow on. Great quality, easy to clean, and a lovely wooden handle. I highly recommend it.

versatile

This is a really good tool. I've noticed less fall-out. It also works just fine to blend out Make Up For Ever eye shadows in the absence of an actual blending brush. It fits in the crease and I've also used it on my lover lash line. It's my new staple brush.

great brush

I've been using this for the past year and it works great. Bristle is still soft after multiple washes. This brand is comparable to the other brands that I use such as Lancome, Chanel & Laura Mercier. Totally recommend.

Not for small, hooded eyelids

This brush is accurately described which is why I am still giving it 4 stars. My reason for doing the review is because I feel it is not suited to us ladies with aging eyelids that are hooded &/or creasy. My reason is that the brush is too big & flat to really use it with powder shadows on my eyelids. (Creams might be different but I currently do not have any.) I now know that, when a brush is described as having straight fibers, it may not work for me. It feels like I'm trying to apply with a "paddle". The brush is beautifully made and the bristles are very soft.

GREATNESS

This is a great brush that is designed to work exceptionally well. It picks up shadow and keeps it on the brush so there's no fallout in application. The bristles are dense but delicate so you can quickly pack on color. I see a difference in using this brush: color is more even and therefore stays in place longer with better color stay.

Works very well for precise application of eye shadow. Prefer this over fluffier brushes
