Underwhelming

I was looking forward to trying this product since the overall reviews were good and my fine hair needs a heat protectant for my straightener. First, online it says you can apply to dry hair, which is why I bought it. But the bottle says apply to damp hair. And either way you do it, it leaves a gross film on the hair and makes it tangly/harder to brush. I also feel like after brushing it through, I had more hair loss on my brush than normal. Disappointed.

A must-have for no heat damaged hair!!

10/10 on this product. It is so easy to apply just spray it all over and you are set for perfect healthy hair. I like to use this product with the "WOW Dream Coat Spray" and the results are amazing.

Fine-hair girlie here — & this was disappointing

I love love LOVE the smell of Moroccanoil products, but this one was disappointing. I have fine hair, and this product left a film on my hair — and my hair definitely didn't behave as it normally does. It lost curl within hours. I can usually go days without washing...but I found myself needing to wash it only a day later. *Sad face.*

Saved my hair!

I tried this heat protectant after seeing good reviews for it, and I am pleased with what i got! I typically use it on my dry hair, let it sit, and go on styling my hair. It smells fresh and my hair feels stronger and less brittle using it.

Light weight if you don’t mind baby powder scent.

Was looking for a light weight heat protectant for dry styling. I couldn’t get past the baby powder smell.

Works. Really well. Does not help to repair hair only for the time you use it. Next day same as it was.

I use heat tools all the time so a heat protector is a must! I love the smell of this one and it does s great job of protecting my hair from heat damage. I really like the travel size one as well for travel!

Absolutely amazing hair protector

I have used and I love Moroccanoil as a brand, i was excited to try this Perfect Defense Heat Protectant. It is weightless argan-oil-infused product, let’s talk about the scent of this spray is amazing. It was so easy to use this spray and how evenly it applied. I liked how smooth my hair was after blowing it out and it didn’t leave a nasty dirty feeling hair. I would definitely recommend this product.

the PERFECT heat protectant

Perfect Defense Heat Protectant is just that… the perfect heat protect spray I’ve ever used. No bad smell upon coming in contact with heat & no steam/smoke coming off the hair! Left my hair shiny, soft, & smooth.

I always love Moroccan oil products so I was so happy when this was gifted. I think it protected my hair well! It was an adjustment though to use an aerosol heat protectant. I’m used to a spray bottle.
