I love this product. It works really well, never clogs and the spray is a perfect mist.

Not disability friendly

This product is not disability friendly. I had to use both hands to press down and with little success. It smells okay so I gave it 2 stars for that but I cannot attest to its use since I could not get enough product out.

Smells bad and didn't protect my hair as well as the Loreal heat protectant, fried my ends. left an awful residue on my straightener too

DONT BUY

To be honest this product is %51 a scam its so expensive for a bottle that lasts like 5 months or even less if you use it more. This RUINED my straightener its at the point where i cant even use it because its SO clogged! I am very didsapointed and upset with myself for buting this without research wish i never WASTED my money on this.

Heavy, Grimy feel to my hair. Want to shampoo asap

I tried this multiple times. I can’t stand it. I don’t like the feel, the residue it leaves, OR the smell. For reference my hair is very thick, coarse, wavy, and naturally dry, so I use 1-2 leave-ins, serums, and oils. Literally when I shampoo, I towel dry, then add Color Wow Kale-Infused Serum, 1 or 2 leave-in spray conditioners, Color Wow Coconut-Infused Serum, followed with an oil and / or a serum, and Kenra Blow Dry Spray. My hair pretty much “drinks” it. None of these leave any feeling of residue or product at all ... just thick, silky softness. My hair is super healthy and feels like it has nothing in it. With all this, I only shampoo every 4-5 days. But the MoroccanOil Perfect Defense leaves my hair feeling - to be honest - gross. I want to shampoo asap. I can’t stand product feel in my hair, especially product that makes it feel dirty or grimy. And I do not like the smell (they would call it “scent”) at all. Yuck. Sorry but this is a big, “NO thank you!” for me.

TERRIBLE. Causes tangles and rips your hair out.

This product is SO sticky- like hair spray, just as the other one star reviews warned- so after you spray it on damp hair as instructed and try to comb while drying, your hair tangles and you’ll end up ripping it out. AWFUL! I gave it 2 tries but NEVER AGAIN! I don’t know how it has such good reviews. I’ll be returning to using L’Oreal’s heat spray for flat ironing from now on.

It’s… ok? I was expecting wonders with this product as I love moroccanoil but it left my hair feeling my ends feeling a little sticky and would end up tangling

Little sticky for me

I don’t mind it, but I don’t love it because it’s a bit sticky in my hair.
