Ribbon Wrapped Lash - Mini Máscara

Flaky and non-long wearing

Love a tubing mascara and really wanted this to work. Tried the mini though since I'm a realist and know even if it works great for one, might not work for me. I've got long (thanks Latisse!) but pretty straight Asian lashes and while the black was a good color and coverage in application, flaked easily and throughout the day. I'm a tinted sunscreen and mascara type of gal so need the 2 simple things to work and work well. Too bad

It made my lashes pop.

I was actually impressed. 4 stars because of the price. But It made my lashes pop. I didn’t have any of the issues others had. I did two coats and it stayed on with no flaking or smudging. I double cleanse so I didn’t notice a difference from other products when removing.

Best tubing mascara!!! Thickens the lashes without weighing them down. Other tubing mascaras are so heavy that they pull my lashes down straight but not this one!! New favorite!!!

Not as good as Cliniques tubing mascara. This one seems to clump and look unnatural with the clumps that seem to fall off a bit.

Flaky

It looks nice she. You apply it but it gets very flakey within an hour or 2. It also doesn’t have the typical tubing mascara removal. It feels like regular mascara

Fallout and flaking

The flexibility of the brush itself is nice. However, there is fallout/flaking after a couple hours and I did not feel it provided more lengthening than other brands of tubing mascara. A little bummed that this wasn’t a success. I will be returning it.

very clumpy & flaky... There isn't much payoff for how much you put on. It is not super lengthening or volumizing. Not a fan.

So dry

Super dry, comes off patchy. The tips just puts out goops of mascara. I’ll stick with Tarte’s tubing mascara

Came off in the pool

I thought tubing mascaras came off with warm water. I first tried this when I went to Girl Scout camp with my daughter. I got the standard raccoon eyes walking around in the mild heat. As soon as I hit the pool, it rolled off as I hit the pool I don’t

Allergic

I finally used the Ribbon tubing mascara for the first time today. I am terribly allergic to it. My eyes are itching badly. I will need to return it.

Must have product!

I love this tubing mascara! It separates and lengthens without clumping or smudging. The wand has a little spiky ball on the end, which makes it easy to catch those tiny, hard-to-reach lashes.
