The Multi-Antioxidant Radiance Serum feels nice to use, but I noticed that the serum was already yellow in color when I received it. Could you please let me know if this is normal?

Rotting fish and ammonia smell

Very recent purchase so I will probably update after I finished the bottle, or if I finish the bottle. I'm reviewing now to let people know that there is a distinct sharp fishy smell. It smells vaguely of ammonia and rotted fish. It's not like a fill the room with odor kind of smell but if you are sensitive to smell like I am It's going to knock you back. I hope I can tolerate it long enough to notice results. It has a kind of viscous texture, not thick exactly but a little like the slime from an aloe plant. Not sure if the smell means it's a bad batch or if that's just what it smells like. Not the most cosmetically elegant formulation but hopefully enough time will yield results.

Feels lovely and makes my 42 year old self skin, bright, glowy and smooth, only thing I don't like about it is it smells like I've been carpet licking for a good half hour!!!! 😭

Smells fish after timr

After about a month of having it I put it in my face only to have the most pungent fish smell all over my face

I opened a new bottle around mid-August. (I formerly used the ascorbyl glucoside 12% and found this product to feel about the same). Over the course of September, I noticed a fish smell developing and worsening. I suspect that some component(s)in it is not shelf stable.

Instant brightness!

Amazing in every way

NOT GIFTED- I paid full price for this item, and it's still an incredible value! I worked for 12 years for that company (you know the one) with the famous mega-expensive Vitamin C products, and this serum is soooo much better. Instead of irritating my face, it calms my redness. It absorbs quickly, plays well with other products, and doesn't leave me sticky. I really can't understand the reviews claiming it smells fishy; to me it has no unpleasant odor, but it certainly smells better than the above-mentioned famous one, which smells disgustingly of hot dogs. Antioxidant defense is so important and should be used every single day; this product makes it actually affordable and easy to do so.

Cannot handle the smell

I love most products from The Ordinary, but this one I'm having trouble with. I cannot get over the smell of the product. I'm allergic to strong scents and have a very sensitive nose. The serum smells chemically/fishing/sour even after layering with other products and makeup I can still smell it. I've used it for a couple of weeks and will be discontinuing it.

Stinks

Smells like salmon/fishy. It does eventually dissipate but it’s too much I can’t use it bc of the smell.
