Oily skin warning

I use vitamin c serum daily and I’ve never disliked a product from this brand so I decided to try this one. It made my oily skin break out like crazy! Do not buy if you have oily acne prone skin.

Great serum. My skin after using looks healthy, moisturized and feels fresh. The packaging is nice and very comfortable to use in daily routine. I can definitely recommend this product to try out!!!!!

Sits great on my face. Not oily. Gives my skin a healthy look and makeup sit nicely, as well.

I've only used this product for two days and cause me an horrible face reaction. Would not reccomend this product at all.

Okay for what it is

Pretty hydrating and gave me radiance. Only thing I didn’t like was the fishy smell and lack of blemish removal.

I purchased based on the great reviews but have been using once to twice a day for about two months and haven’t noticed much difference. My skin feels a little more hydrated after applying but that is about it. I have sensitive and blemish-prone skin and no breakouts or other reactions.

Natural ,healthy skin

I usually use just the ordinary rose hip oil but decided to try this as well ,which I now apply under the rise hip oil .I like the way this looks on my skin ,I am 63 years old and all about healthy looking natural skin .Definitely would buy again

Obsessed

I ordered this product after reading all the reviews recommending it. I have been using it for 2 weeks every day and I can see already changes on my skin. Leaves my skin glowing!

Set my neck on fire!

Tried this project twice, once with my usual products and once on its own to make sure it wasn’t a problem with one of my other products. This serum set my neck on fire and irritated my face as well. I don’t have terribly sensitive skin, so I was surprised how severe the reaction was. I would definitely recommend being cautious with this one. Spot test before using all over.

Severe allergic reaction

My face is burning…I washes it off, but it doesn’t help. I’m not allergy prone…but this one…I hope that tomorrow I will feel much better. I don’t recommend

It's supposed to cut my routine in half...Not...

I am all about The Ordinary, my whole skincare routine consist of their products, aside of my cleanser, facial cream and facial mist. I am an all natural daily non make-up wearer to work, to school, and the occasional outings. The most I have on is Blush plus Eyebrow shading. I get compliments and asked about my skin care routine all the time. TBH this Serum does not live up to the hype, and it did not cut my routine in half. In fact I cut out all of my daily routine to only my toner and this serum to see if it does my usuals Justice... My routine does pertain to antioxidant support and to help nourish the face from the daily Harshes of life, which is what this serum is supposed to do. I guess if you do not usually have any tackle on those matters this will help with adding it on. But to annihilate my usuals... NEVER. This did not leave my skin feeling supple like my usuals do, in fact it just seemed to dry on vs smooth plus gently absorb in. Your skin is supposed to look dewy not oily or dry. I will be posting pics of my usual routine look vs with this serum. I am going to do 2 weeks of just focusing on this serum vs 2 weeks of my usual to see how the outcomes vary. I will be taking a break from serums before/in between/after to give them each a fair shot and a fresh no routine start. I only have pics of my current routine, didn't think to take any with this serum since I was not feeling the product. Yes I would reccomend for those who have no antioxidant care, but no I would not recommend for those who currently have a working routine.
