Effective exfoliating cleanser

My skin is easily sensitized, so I always make sure to rinse off this cleanser with cold water. I do feel a slight tingling sensation, but it's never intolerable. Right after cleansing, my skin feels incredibly smooth. I follow up with a calming toner and moisturizer, and by morning, my skin looks calm and glowing. It's noticeably less oily, my pores appear smaller, and the bumps on my forehead and chin have reduced. I use this cleanser every night, the scent is amazing, like a little spa treat just for me.

Extremely effective

This with the superfood face wash cleared my skin after years of trail & error using other brands products. It definitely brightens dark marks including around the eyes (at first I was using without getting close to them & it was very noticeable, I then carefully started to apply around my eyes & it lightened the dark circles I had). Highly recommend this chemical exfoliant if you’re also looking for something made with more natural ingredients, my skin isn’t very sensitive, but I appreciate the concept of using clean, plant-based actives that actually work without being harsh. It’s gentle for an acid mix, effective and is now a staple in my routine

CLEAN START

I really like the gentle exfoliating cleanser. With enlarged pores, I feel it effectively removes oil and environmental dirt from them. My face always feels refreshed and clean afterward. I wish it were available in a bigger bottle.

Really like it

I like it as an inbetween cleanser . Its a little more powerful than the regular one they have so I dont like to use it that often but when I do it helps alot w pores and texture.

My favorite cleanser ! Skin feels so fresh and clean after using and never feels irritated!

Burns

My skin tolerates most products well. Not sensitive at all. However, this cleanser burns and leaves my skin feeling irritated. It does cleanse well. I couldn’t wait to use this up so I could move onto a cleanser that actually feels good to use.

Burned my skin off

Horrible product, literally burned my skin off! I tried this product, because I like the Superfood cleanser and was looking for an exfoliant. First of all, there’s no exfoliation to this at all. Very harsh on the skin. Will never buy any other Youth to the People product again.

Worth trying

Good daily cleaner, very lightweight. Occasionally makes skin feel tingly like citrus but nothing concerning. I’ve had no irritation from using this daily, no redness or dryness. I still incorporate Kiehls deep cleanser for a deeper clean feeling.

Dry, flakey skin after using this.

I've used about one third of the bottle, and it says it's exfoliating and maybe it is, but my skin feels dry and really flakey after using it. The good part is you don't need a lot - maybe half a pump - to get a good lather from it so it should last a long time. If you are pleased with the product this is a good thing. For myself, I went back to the product I was previously using.

Dries out skin, itchy sensation after use

I keep trying to like this product but it dries out my skin and leaves an itchy feeling on my face. The top nozzle broke and it’s hard to dispense the product as I have to fully open the bottle to get product out

A must-have in my routine!

I love love LOVE this cleanser. The first week of using it I did experience a burning sensation, but I fully believe it was just working its magic! My face has never been so smooth and clean/clear with a cleanser. This is truly my everyday go to!
