To start off, the smell was pretty pleasant. I liked it quite a bit. There is a good bit of product in the container as well & I think it would last a long time. So that is a big plus. It made my hair veryyy soft, almost too soft. It said to put it along length and ends so I did so. Afterwards once dry my hair felt super soft and poofy (if you know you know). It was just a bit too much on my hair. So I’m going to stick to washing it out a little bit quicker, instead of the recommended 3-5 minutes. You don’t have to do this mask super often to reap the benefits of it though, so it’s okay with me. It’s supposed to help lock in your day 1 color vibrancy for up to 100 days!?👀 So what can I say, that sounds like a good deal to me! It has a combination of Ferulic acid and Citric acid to help lock dyes into the hair fiber!!! It sucks to see your colors fade quicker than you would’ve liked. So using a product like this is worth it to me to help maintain fresh color.

L’Oreal always delivers in the haircare department. I am thrilled with the discovery of this mask because not only does it deeply nourish and hydrate my colored-treated hair, it keeps the carefully crafted shade looking oh so vibrant. I sport a multidimensional shade reminiscent of a strawberry blonde but peachier. I LOVE the way it looks right after my color appointment but find it often fades quickly and the tint looks far less brilliant with a wash or two. This specially formulated treatment is designed to keep your color looking brilliant and fresh and it does just that. The scent is also fun and cheery - love it! My hair is super happy, so I am too!

Leaves my hair soft

I’ve been using the L’Oréal Vitamino Color Spectrum Mask and honestly, it’s made such a difference in my hair. I color my hair pretty regularly, so it can get dry, dull, and washed out if I’m not careful, but this mask has seriously brought life back to my hair. My hair feels softer, looks shinier, and it’s so much easier to manage after every use. What I really love is that it doesn’t weigh my hair down or make it feel greasy, which is a huge plus for me. I apply this solely from mid to ends and a little goes a long way. This does have a more perfumey floral scent —not too strong, just clean and fresh but personally I’m not a big fan of. Other than that, i see a huge difference, I can tell my color looks more vibrant and lasts longer between salon visits while keeping the softness, strength, and health back into my hair. If you have color-treated hair, this is definitely worth trying.

I’m still forming an opinion on this product. Three out of the seven times I’ve tried this hair mask out, I’ve had a great experience. But the other four times haven’t impressed me a whole lot. The first thing I noticed when I opened this product was the smell. I like for my beauty products to be super strong and fragrant so it was perfect to me but if you didn’t like a very powerful scent, this product might be too strong for you. The next thing I noticed was the workability, it was extremely easy to work through my hair. I had no problems with this part. Three of the times I used this hair mask, my hair was shinier and smooth, easy to brush through and my hair color was brighter and had more noticeable dimension. The other four times my hair was left feeling greasy and heavy and it didn’t look the best either. Almost like it had a film over top of it that took away its shine. The only thing I can think that I did differently was using shampoo after I used the hair mask the three times it worked well. I’ve still yet to form a solid opinion on this product but from what I’ve gathered so far, it could do wonders for your hair or it could not. It’s all depending on you use it. tight coily hair review

This hair mask was pretty good. It provided enough slip for detangling and left my hair super soft. Once I was done, I was able to run my fingers through my hair without any snagging or unnecessary tension. I've only used this hair mask once, so I'm unable to speak on the color maintenance aspect, but my hair is still as red as before. The texture is definitely on the thicker side. It's not super thick to the point where it leaves build-up on the strands, but if you flip the container upside down, it won't fall out. I have coarse hair, so masks of this texture are really nice for my hair, although I don't find it as spreadable because of this. The scent is really nice. It's a floral and citrus scent. It doesn't agitate me, and it goes away a few hours later, so I think it makes for a pleasant experience. Overall, this product is good. I'd recommend this to those with thicker hair strands.

Color Treated Hairs Best Friend!

L'Oréal Professionnel has some great product lines and they just keep them coming. I can't say enough positive things about this brand and the Professionnel line. It's truly amazing and they a product for every hair type or hair issue. When you use any of their products from the Professionnel line, you always look and smell like you walked out of a salon. The Vitamino Color Spectrum Proctecting Shine Mask is no exception. This mask will have your hair feeling like a million bucks. It takes very little and I mean very little, to spread through your hair and coat it good. This stuff is so hydrating and softening that you only have to leave it on for one minute. How many mask do you know that are that awesome and that quick? In the few days I had it, I used it 3 times, so that I could get a good feel for it and my hair was so soft and shiny, oh and not to mention it smelled so good. That wasn't a surprise though, all of their products smell amazing, the best really.

A miracle mask

This hair mask locks in my color and makes it so gorgeous and soft! It smells incredible, like a spa day, and my hair has a serious shine to it after use. I have very long, dry, wavy, color treated hair that honestly needs all the help it can get. I also use lots of products throughout the week, which means I use a heavy duty deep cleansing shampoo to really cleanse my scalp and hair. Regular hair masks are a must for my hair health. This one fits the bill for everything I need! I coat every strand below my ears and wait about five minutes for it to work its magic. I like to rinse my hair with cold water, as I find it provides extra shine. My hair has never been softer and healthier feeling! I love the peace of mind I have that it’s color safe, and even more so that it’s helping preserve my color! I cannot recommend this hair mask enough.

This hair mask left my hair feeling AMAZING. The smell was also divine. Love that I only need to have it sitting for 3-5 minutes. I would purchase this again and again as I color my hair consistently and need something that not only holds the color but makes my hair healthy as well.
