I have received this product for free in exchange of an unbiased review. I have really thick, bleached hair (a blonde balayage with baby lights on the roots to be exact) and finding a product that adds shine and reduces frizz without weighing down my hair is a real challenge. Luckily, this product has exceeded my expectations! I used this after washing my hair, after applying leave in conditioner, but before blow drying or doing a blowout. The serum is very lightweight and has a light scent, so it doesn't give me a migraine or feel harsh on my hair. Once my hair was dry and styled, I could easily tell a difference in how shiny my hair is with this product versus without. I have since washed my hair three times (it is supposed to last up to 5 washes before reapplying again) and I still have shinier hair than I did prior to using this product. I highly recommend this, and I'm sure that if I straightened my hair the shine will be even more noticeable! I think this product could work for many hair types and textures!

Glass shine for real

L'Oreal hit the mark with this one. The high shine /glass shine is real. It does have to be put in damp hair and heat has to be applied in order for the effect to be taken. I put the vitamino hair serum into my hair with no greasy effect. Brush my hair let it dry and then flat ironed it. My hair has never been shinier.

This L’Oreal color spectrum glass shine serum is honestly such a good product! The product itself is super cute and fits in with any aesthetic on the vanity, and the pump is very easy to use. I only used a small amount so I foresee myself having this bottle for a while. But I worked it through my lengths and my ends after washing my hair. It really did not leave my hair feeling great or heavy with product at all, it was very light weight and has a nice subtle scent that’s not super overpowering. It also kept my hair feeling healthy and hydrated smoothing down any frizz, and frizz is something I struggle with typically! It’s also multi use as you can also use it as a heat protectant, I really love all in one products so it doesn’t feel like I’m weighing my hair down with a bunch of stuff. Love this serum!

Great for thick hair

I have thick, long hair and go to the salon for highlights several times a year. I typically request long layers and curtain bangs, so I’m always looking for products that will protect my hair from heat damage. L’Oréal released a new serum and I couldn’t wait to add this to my styling routine! The packaging makes it easy to dispense and you can lock the top when traveling. It’s recommended to apply 1-2 pumps to 2 sections of hair, however I prefer 4 sections to evenly distribute product (I have a lot of hair!). The serum feels lightweight and has a subtle fragrance to it. The shine effect is activated with heat and I’m able to immediately see results with one application. Humidity Hero!

The L’Oréal Vitamino Shine Serum definitely lives up to its name, leaving hair incredibly soft, light, and noticeably shiny. Blow-drying felt surprisingly fast, even on thick hair, and it impressively tamed frizz and maintained a great look for days despite the humidity. Just be aware that the fragrance is quite noticeable, so it might not be for those who prefer unscented products. Also, you might find yourself needing a generous amount to fully coat your hair. Overall, if you love a good scent and want soft, shiny, and humidity-resistant results, this serum is worth checking out!

Finally- a product that really makes my vivids shine!! Vivids are notoriously fickle hair colors. If you don't treat them right, they disappear QUICKLY. Even after just a couple weeks, they begin to look dull and faded. Loreal has found the solution to keep vivid color looking sparkling. My hair is a mix of vivid purple and a more natural brown. (all dyed) Both colors look as shiney and fresh as the day I colored them after over 3 weeks. I was using a shampo that was stripping out the vivid purple- and when I began to use this product, the fading stopped, leaving a beautiful ombrey from purple into my natural brown. This is a must for anyone with colored hair who wants that just from the salon glow weeks after. And it doesn't matter if you have semi-permanent vivids or permanent natural colors- the color spectrum glass shine hair serum will make any dye look amazing! Can I give this six stars?

Good

Instant shine on very lifeless hair! My hair literally looks professionally blown out with a gorgeous Hollywood sheen to it. The product was amazing and I only had to use it sparingly. The results were instant, I could see a noticeable improvement in the texture of my of my hair. The bounce it added was brilliant and I could tell that right away I had less fly aways and no frizz. Now, my blow out didn’t last through the humidity like I had hoped but it’s is only up to 80% humidity unaffectedness. My hair is low porosity and that means I typically have a hard time trapping moisture in. This product seemed to seal the moisture in my hair lengths. I really liked the smell of this product. It was not overtly noticeable but up close I could tell it had a soft light smell. This product was provided in exchange for honest review.

Goodbye Frizz

The shine is giving glassy, just-got-a-blowout realness—like I walked out of a fancy salon. It’s super lightweight, so it doesn’t weigh your hair down or leave it greasy, which is a must for me with fine, color-treated hair. The scent is subtle and clean, not overpowering at all. My highlights usually fade fast, but this serum is helping to keep them looking fresh and dimensional longer. And this gets rid of my frizz, which is my top priority and usually hard to do.

Great Colored Hair Serum

I have been using the L'Oréal Professionnel Vitamino Color Spectrum Glass Shine Serum which is amazing. It makes my hair smooth and shiny. This serum comes in a 50ml pump bottle and it has a lightweight water like texture. Which is very easy to apply and it also absorbs very quickly. It coats your hair cuticles, protecting the colour and giving you a beautiful glassy shine. What I love about this serum is that it works on all colored hair and provides protection for up to 10 washes. It is enriched with 5% Alpha-silane, which forms a protective layer on your hair when heated. After using it, my hair looked super shiny and felt smooth. Plus, it helped reduce frizz, which is a good thing living in humid areas like the south. To use shake it well, apply 1-2 pumps for thin to medium hair or 3-4 pumps for thicker hair on clean, towel dried hair, and style as usual. It dries quickly. Loving how much it has helped my hair. If you're looking for a product that protects your hair colour while giving you that glassy shine, I highly recommend giving this serum a try.

Leaves Hair Hydrated Smooth More Vibrant

The L'Oréal Professionnel Vitamino Color Spectrum Glass Shine Hair Serum is a leave-in serum that instantly gives my hair a professional, glassy shine. This product is good for all hair types and any texture (I personally have long, wavy-ish hair that goes past the middle of my back). I love that it is also a heat protectant and has anti-frizz benefits. After using the product, your hair will absolutely be hydrated, smooth, and more vibrant. Plus, this serum seriously smells so good! I apply a couple pumps of this product to the ends of my hair after a wash day to towel dried hair. Then I follow up with my Dyson to blow dry it. I feel like a little goes a long way and it didn’t weigh down my hair or leave a greasy residue. This review was collected as part of a promotion.

I would have to say that it has become no secret by now that L’Oréal professional has made it to the top of my list in haircare because they come up with new innovative haircare lines that take care of any hair concern for any type or texture. It came at no surprise to me when I tried the new Vitamino hair color spectrum serum that I would fall in love not only with the benefits my colored hair is receiving but with the captivating floral scent. I love that this serum not only offers protection from the elements but heat protection from your styling tools. Not only has this left my hair so shiny after coloring but it has also left is smelling good and made my color look more vibrant. Even when I let my hair air dry it looks so nice and even fuller. A little truly does go a long way with this serum when they say one pump at a time it’s because one pump was all my hair needed.
