Great foundation

I couldn't wait to purchase and try this foundation and I am so glad I did. It was not too oily and blended so well into my skin and matched my skin tone perfectly. I had no need to use powder as my skin didnt need it because of this matte finish. I also felt that my skin was breathable, like I did not have anything on!

Blurs skin texture

I recieved this to test and review as a member of the nars community. The nars foundation comes in its sleek elegant bottle with a built in pump dispenser. Shake well before use. The consistency is lightweight serum like texture, and applies nicely. It gives a medium coverage, which is buildable. On skin it is very lightweight, barely there feel, skin is able to breathe. It covers skin in a way to smooth it out and even the texture, making skin look flawless in a very natural way. It has a matte finish. It dried quickly, with minimal transfer, and stayed on well through the day. It contains many skin care ingredients like Niacinamide and peptides, therefore, over time continues to improve skin's texture. This is perfect for those with combo/oily skin as it helps reduce oil and shine. If you have dry skin, just make sure your base is very hydrated or this may look a little dry due to the powder matte finish. Overall, this is a great medium coverage natural looking foundation which blurs and gives the illusion of flawless skin without any effort.

I’ve been loving the NARS Natural Matte Longwear Foundation – it’s quickly become a go-to in my routine. The formula dries down to a soft matte finish that looks natural on the skin (no cakey vibes) and really holds up throughout a long day. Coverage is great too – buildable from medium to full without feeling heavy. It blurs pores, controls shine, and doesn’t settle into fine lines. I’d say it works best for combination to oily skin – dry skin types might want a really hydrating base underneath – but overall it feels comfortable and gives a polished finish that still feels like “your skin but better.” A solid foundation pick if you want long wear without looking overly made up.

I’ve been using this foundation almost every day lately and I’m really happy with how it looks on my skin. It gives enough coverage to even everything out, but it still looks natural and not heavy. The finish is matte, but not dry or flat , it still looks like skin. It feels comfortable throughout the day and doesn’t slide around or get patchy on me.
