Olaplex bonding oil is a weightless oil. I have dry and thin hair that tangles easily. I use Olaplex bonding oil as a finishing oil and it adds instant shine and softness. Also, it works as a heat protectant. This oil is not greasy; even with a few drops, it adds shine and leaves hair glossy. It works on various hair types and gives a salon-fresh look. The only limitation is that it is pricey. And also overusing the oil makes hair look oily. This hair oil is a game changer for frizzy hair and adds shine without heaviness. This bonding oil was gifted to me by Olaplex for my honest review and I would say it is worth the splurge if shine and sleekness are top priority.

Product truly does the job

I found this oil point in the press protection and heat protection. Hair oil is very good and my hair love it make it easy to style with heat protectant and less fresh frizz absolutely amazing. Highly recommended.

Sneaky good

I was pleasantly surprised by this oil. Most hair oils are thick in texture and can feel gross and heavy if you use too much. This oil is so lightweight, and genuinely doesn't feel like anything in my hair. The bottle may seem small, but a little truly goes a long way. I have long, thick hair, and 5-6 drops are enough for all of my hair. It also has a subtle, citrus scent, which I enjoy. It's perfect for bringing my hair back to life as I get closer and closer to wash day. My ends can get really dry, so a little of this oil is perfect for keeping them smooth and hydrated. I feel like most Olaplex products aren't for me since I don't color or style my hair, but this is very nice, and I will continue to use it!

Amazing Oil

I consider myself a hair oil snob as it's the only thing that keeps my frizzy wavy hair tamed. With that disclaimer, I absolutely love this one. Tried the best oils out there and this one is top 3. I love the fact that a little goes a long way, leaves a beautiful smooth finish and it has a serum consistency, not your typical sticky hair oil. I have to admit that I'm not a fan of this dropper, it's hard to get product out and the cap is now oily given this is not a one hand applicator. As I mentioned before, you don't need much product so the dropper is probably for the best. Even with that this is still a solid 5 star product. I love that it's also heat protectant which makes styling my hair much easier as it eliminates one extra product which usually weights my hair down. Love the scent, it's subtle but you can definitely smell warm vanilla and I got a few compliments since I started using it. This is my first Olaplex product and I feel like I need to try more as this is great quality and I'm very picky when it comes to hair products.

The Olaplex No. 7 Bonding Oil has been a game changer in making my hair silky and shiny. Just a little bit goes a long way and just a few drops does the job. I've been applying this at my ends and working my way up either on dry hair or on damp hair after the shower. And it really does make a world of difference in how smooth and shiny my hair is. The packaging is very sleek and looks beautiful on my countertop. The opening allows for you to get the product out drop by drop so that way you can really customize how much you want and make sure not to waste any product or pour out more than you need. It has a very nice scent similar to other Olaplex products I've used with that kind of signature somewhat-citrusy smell. It's the perfect product to go with any other Olaplex products in your repertoire or just to add on as an addition to your existing routine. It definitely has become a staple in my daily hair routine.

Healthy Shine Without Weighing Hair Down

received this product as part of an educational promotion, and it’s honestly one of my favorite hair oils. I love how my heatless curls turn out when I use it before styling and the shine after blow-drying or flat ironing is amazing..smooth, glossy and never heavy.

Lightweight, nourishing and strengthening

I’ve always been hesitant to use a hair oil, because I was always afraid it would make my hair greasy. The Olaplex No. 7 bonding hair oil has changed my viewpoint on this and I’m so happy I’ve tried it. It is a very light weight oil that I used from mid-length to the tips. I put just 2-3 drops in my palms and then distribute it through my hair. A little goes a long way, and this bottle will last me probably a year, so it’s a worthy investment. It does a great job reducing frizz and my hair is so much softer after an application. It additionally provided a little shine to my otherwise dull hair. I use it on my hair after shampooing, once my hair is dry and styled, as a final step. One of the things that I like the most about it is that it is designed to work together with Olaplex No. 3, which has long been a favorite product of mine and a staple in my routine, to repair the bonds of damaged hair. As I am post-menopausal and I do color my hair, my hair has been shedding like crazy and using products designed to strengthen hair is a must.

Must have bonding oil

Obsessed with this hair oil! I’m 55 & have very frizzy dry hair that is mostly grey but I do a deposit only hair color. Im constantly looking for products that work well with mature hair and this stands out. Beautiful packaging - there doesn’t look like there is a lot of product but you will find that you do not need much! A few drops to coat my wet hair - I add extra to my ends - smells so nice - and then I blow dry ! The results were amazing - my hair was so soft and shiny! I couldn’t even believe how well that worked - no additional hair products were needed! Frizz free and it felt so nice to the touch. On days I do not wash my hair I use a little to quickly retouch and refresh. Highly recommend for anyone with mature dry frizzy hair - it is supposed to help with breakage too but just got this product but will continue using bc I’m impressed

I am loving this Olaplex bonding oil. The packaging is pretty good. It dispenses product nicely. I have very frizzy and dry hair. So far it’s doing wonders for my hair. A little bit goes a long way. It’s very lightweight and easy to use. I use it on both wet and dry hair. I like that it has very subtle light scent, not too overpowering. It doesn’t make my hair greasy or oily. It absorbs pretty quickly and adds nice shine to it. My hair is now much more smoother and shiner with every use. I love how it helps with frizzy hair. It’s also helping repair damaged hair and split ends. I love this oil and I will keep using it. It’s must have product now in my hair care routine.
