Not the secret sauce

I'm sorry but this product is a rip-off. Before the company was bought out I'm sure the secret seaweed broth was phenomenal. Our perhaps it's the marketing. Regardless, I've been using this every other night in my skincare routine after washing. It does moisturize, but that's about it. It's so thick you have to really warm up the product in your fingers just to pat it onto your skin. It's a decent moisturizer, nothing special, and ridiculously overpriced.

Too Thick for me

In the winter in Minnesota I have a very dry forehead and cheeks. This could be beneficial as a spot moisturizer for me but my face felt greasy and oily afterwards. I will not be purchasing a full size at this time as I do not need this time of product.

Horrible allergic reaction

I was so excited to receive a sample of this, and got a severe allergic reaction. I’ve had raised red welts across my cheeks for several days. I hope it will go away on its own without doing severe damage to my skin carrier

Not as good as Tatcha

I purchased this product to give my face a break from my Tatcha line. I was all fresh faced and put this product on before bed. I couldn't last fifteen minutes due to the odor. I felt as if I had slathered up in chicken broth before bed. I read wonderful results reviews. I decided to fight through the odor. I came to the conclusion it is all hype. I didn't see results. I am complimented on my skin and lack of wrinkles. I cannot see spending this type of money without seeing results. *More skin moisture. The smell made me gag every time I put it on my skin!

This is not good

I have been using Crème de La Mer moisturizer for over 30 years. The most recent jar I opened did not have the iconic formulation or scent. This cream used to absorb quickly into the skin, now it’s super greasy it just sits on your skin. The smell is horrible. Goodbye to this iconic cream. Heartbroken.

Horrid

I had the most severe allergic reaction to this product. It was awful. I don’t know how they can sell this for so much money with how bad the product is.

Fragrance, break outs

I have the same criticisms as others. The artificial added fragrance is overwhelming and gives me a headache. It breaks me out. It seemed to help my eczema patches but so does Vaseline. There is no way this is worth even half the price.

My skin absolutely loves this!

Unfortunately for my wallet my super sensitive loves this thick moisturizer!! After warming a small amount on my fingers, it melt like butter on my skin! I’ve tried so many other popular and cheaper moisturizers over the years, but nope my skin loves this one the best. lol

Just because you can’t afford it or haven’t used propely you can’t say it’s a fake or it does work, I’m 58 right now and I’ve been using it since I was 22, by that that time I couldn’t afford it so I ask it my parents as my birthday present. Now, I only new a small jar every 9 months. If you take your time and read the instructions, you could find out that’s not thick at all and very easy to spread. Also great for dry skin, nourishing, and no unpleasant smell at all. You just need a very small amount of it so it really last a lot and, in the end is a good investment. I have no wrinkles, lines of expression, etc, and it’s the only product I use, with Marvellous Oll by Nuxe, and a good cleaning routine. So does my mother, who, by the way is 94.

The price is crazy but so are the results 😭

I got this sample months and never used it. Recently my skin had been reacting poorly to stuff and I decided to pull it out of the drawer and try it. When I tell you I felt like miracles happened. In one day my skin was calm and not flaking, and my couoke of blemishes had gone down overnight. By day 3, my fresher blemish was gone and is now a little scared that hopefully goes away. Day 2 my forehead wrinkle that was getting deeper went back to its normal barely there line. My under eye wrinkles which are very fine but had been causing me to buy different concealer to find one that worked with them, gone. my concealer lays flat and there are no lines to settle into. I am so on the fence if I want to splurge and get a 2 oz because its so magical but ive been researching and using a couple different products together may achieve the same thing..however a couple different products adds up to almost the same amount as this.

Tried it after years

I used a code to get a sample because I wanted to see what the hype was about. I’m so upset because it’s so expensive and my skin absolutely loved it.

Used this for 25+ years and no wrinkles at 50

I have used La Mer since I was 23 or 24 years old. I am turning 50 this summer. I don't have a line on my face. My only complaint is the fragrance which is a mature scent that I've never liked. Other than that, this is a flawless formula. I care about results. I've tried other brands but nothing does it like La Mer.
