[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This perfume absolutely blew me away. I had no idea that I liked scents like these! It has a bit of a sweet smell. I would say similar to vanilla, but then also has a floral and fruity touched. I’m usually more of a deeper scent gal but wowowow!! I literally apply it in the morning and then when I’m going to bed, I can still smell it on my wrist. This is my second Valentino perfume and im hooked

A beautiful warm floral scent

It’s versatile and can be worn day or night. It apples easily, this beautiful feminine fragrance drys down and lasts very nicely on my skin.

I noticed that while the initial spray is great, it actually smells much better after it settles on the skin for about an hour. The notes of juicy plum and osmanthus give it a beautiful opening, but the Madagascan vanilla in the dry down is what makes it so warm, luxurious, and addictive. It has a rich, slightly mysterious feel that makes it perfect for evenings or special nights out. Because of that cozy warmth, it’s also an amazing choice for fall and winter, though it’s elegant enough for daily wear if you like a bolder scent. Highly recommend!

Valentino Purple Melancholia

I love the packaging of Valentino bottles and the color so I was excited to try this when I first laid my eyes on it. At first spray I did not like this scent at all which upset me because I love all the other perfumes from them. It first smelled like an older woman perfume. I gave it a chance though and the more I wore it, the more it has grown on me. It’s not my favorite but it does smell better the more you wear it and it lasts a few hours in my experience. Personally I would not buy this again but it was fun to try it out and someone else would definitely love this scent. Thank you for the complimentary product! [I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Valentino Born in Roma, Purple Melancholia truly hits the senses with notes of vanilla and plum. The initial scent delivers a mysterious cast as you try to search for the tone, but as the scent wears on, a dramatic aroma fills your senses. I would say it would be perfect for an evening night out and can be worn whether you are just casually enjoying or having a nice dinner. In short it is versatile enough. Let’s talk packaging, the attention to details is dramatic with pyramid glass design which adds to the elegance, the reverse cap adds the Valentino logo. This one hits the home run for me.

This scent is so elegant and light but dreamy. It is perfect for any occasion or weather. This perfume has a warm floral, juicy plum with a hint of vanilla scent which I love. The bottle also is beautiful. This is my new go to perfume and I definitely recommend!!
