awful lip product

The most drying lip product I've ever purchased. I never leave reviews on anything but do not make the mistake I made and waste your money on the worst product I have ever bought. It dried my lips out like nothing I have ever seen.

Awkward Container to use

I found the container very difficult to use and awkward so I won't be buying again. Shame

Great balm, terrible container

Love the product but the container is not great, it's so difficult to get the balm out, you have to warm it up first and squeeze real hard to get it out

Not a fan of the application process

Very moisturizing but not a fan of the application. Product comes out in a clump and then has to be spread either with the tip of the bottle or my fingers.

Save your money!

Not good!!! For the price I was expecting great things, but it made my lips worse, rather than better!! I have it a week & it was still terrible. Plus, the packaging makes it a pain to take with you.

Caused irritation, dryness and pain

I bought this product with high hopes as I love the ordinary but unfortunately it dried my lips out and left me with crusty sore irritated lips. A lot of other people are experiencing the same issue so I wouldn’t recommend trying

Formula change?

I bought this last year when they first launched and I absolutely loved it I told all my friends about it and they liked it as well and I’ve been rationing it and my parents bought me a new one today but it doesn’t feel the same I don’t know or see anyone mentioning a formula change but it feels less hydrating and more like a regular lip balm which I do not love but this may just be how it is at first since I have gotten used to rationing the last bits

Smells very bad, kinda like farm or cow manure lol. It’s not that moisturizing either. It just sits on top of your skin.

Pass

I am not loving this balm at all. I’ve experienced more dryness and chapping since using this product. I may start using it on my cuticles instead but would hate if it causes more dryness.

Terrible reaction.

I had an absolutely terrible reaction to this product. On Xmas eve of all days. 😔 Almost instantly after application my lips swelled up and blistered. Washed off straight away and applied cream. My lips are so swollen still and oozing. 22849210

Skip this one

Made my lips dry and peel. I did not try it on cuticles or elbows. I usually love everything from the ordinary so this was a let down

Sensitive skin approved :-)

I bought this as a splurge, but it might become my main lip balm as long as it's around. My lips and cuticles visibly heal within minutes. I see complaints about the texture, but it's squalene—it's going to be thin and slippery, like squalene is. I do multiple thin layers and seal it with petrolatum. Doesn't make my throat feel weird like other brands, which is a plus.
