BE CAREFUL! Causes contact dermatitis

OMG after months of struggling with allergic contact dermatitis on my eyelids I finally pinpointed that it is coming from this mascara! I have never had issues like this before and did not suspect that this mascara was causing it since it is labeled as clean and "hypoallergenic". Now seeing so many other reviews of the same issue, I'm glad to have figured this out and that others have as well. I've loved every Haus Labs product I've used, so very disappointed in this!

Allergies, itchy eyes, not worth it.

I’d first like to say I truly had high hopes for this product. I did research and found this one to be the best for my preferences. As a gift my boyfriend bought this for me in May and I started to notice I had really dry and itchy eyes. I tried to blame allergies and dogs but it got worse and my eyes began to crust… I stopped wearing make up all together because in mid July my eyes could not take it… I went to the doctor and was prescribed ointment and told to throw away my make up.. Last week I bought this product again because I did not believe this was the problem. I loved the applicator and the longevity of the mascara but the dry eyes started again. I am allergic to something in the formula and there goes my money. Please be careful if you have sensative skin and eyes.

Eye Irritation Outweighed the Results

This mascara makes your eyelashes look really great, but despite not having sensitive skin, it gave me an allergy. It irritated my eyes and it made my eyes feel itchy. I stopped using it after that.

So allergic to this

I was so allergic and thought it must be another product. I ended up with eczema under my eyes and on my eyelids. One eye was worse than the other.

Sadly it is smudging

This must have been a joke. Such an expensive mascara and it is smudging, I can’t check myself every hour in the mirror that is just not worth it. Other than that I loved it for the effect but it also needed a couple of coats to build it up.

Allergic Reaction :(

I really was excited to try this but I unfortunately am extremely allergic to this product. I do not have sensitive skin and I have never had issues with any other makeup or skincare product before. Super disappointing

Really disappointed

For the price I expected more. This mascara is clumpy and SMUDGES like crazy. Formula is hard to work with I just don’t recommend it.

Do Not Recommend

I had a severe allergic reaction to this mascara. After about a week of using this mascara, my eye lids became very red, flaky, irritated, and puffy to the point that my skin was cracking and bleeding around my eyes. I finally figured out that the mascara was causing it and it cleared up after a week of not using it. The mascara itself also flecked onto my skin during application. If you have sensitive skin beware of this formula.

Absolute must have mascara

Mascara is of my Top 5 Must have’s. I jump around, but end up back at, Benefit, “Yes they”re Real”. I do not wear fake lashes; I can’t stand them. This is a new fav. & I don’t post reviews. Don’t hesitate. It works 100%

The wand is great and makes my lashes so long and full but unfortunately it flared up my eczema horribly. My lash line became red and itchy and didn’t stop until I pinpointed that this mascara was the issue.

Allergic reaction, irritation

Like others have mentioned I identified having a reaction after application with redness to upper and lower eyelids, weeping, cracked and irritated under eye near lash line. This had occurred after using the kacara 2-3 days in a row with removing the mascara after arch use. One month later I applied the mascara for one day and had a similar response. To ease the irritation I usin using the mascara 2-3 days in a row

Mascara Junkies Approved

Love this mascara. 7 months, only 3 tubes. My lashes are longer and stronger and this is my new go to. I let the first coat dry a bit before the second or third to avoid clumping.
