I’ve been using this cleanser for 6 months now, and waited this long to put a review after getting some results and I’m really impressed. It soothes the skin instantly without leaving any tight or dry feeling as I got with other clensers which made me avoid using a clenser for many years. So this is a huge win for my dry facial skin. After consistent use, I noticed it cleanses thoroughly the white heads I had a clearer skin. The formula feels light and refreshing, and it leaves my face feeling clean, calm, and balanced. No harsh chems or fragrance so it is best for my sensitive inflammatory prone skin. Not an influencer, just sharing my experience, honest opinion with this product with you ♡

Favorite First Cleanse

This is a many times repurchased product. It’s not oily at all. So if balm or oil textures aren’t for you this is a great alternative. Gentle around the eyes and lashes. Emulsifies well, rinses easily. This does what I need it to do.

Unpleasant smell; ineffective cleanser

While the information on this cleanser indicates it's unscented, there's an unpleasant, oddly perfume-y odor to it, one that lingers on my skin even after it's been thoroughly rinsed off. Admittedly I'm sensitive to scents of all kinds, but I find it very off-putting. More frustratingly, though, this cleanser simply isn't effective enough to wash away sunscreen. I follow the directions to use on dry skin, rubbing for a fair amount of time, and rinse off with plenty of warm water, but I find there's residue left behind.

So moisturizing

I bought this like a couple months ago and I suffer from severe dry flaky bumpy skin especially on my forehead and this has almost completely evened out my texture and it got rid of all my flakiness it’s really the best face wash I’ve ever used.

Great product!

I was surprised at how large this product was and how long it lasted! I thought it kept my skin oil free, removed my makeup fairly well and kept my skin breakout free. I would purchase this in the future. Product was provided free for promotional and testing purposes.

When I first bought this, I was so excited to try it! It works SUPER well and smells really good! It cleaned and hydrated my skin and was so refreshing in my face. Also I love how affordable The Ordinary products are! Definitely worth it. Consider buying this!

Decent cleanser

This product overall wasn’t bad but also wasn’t my favorite. It did its job but I didn’t feel like it was the best at removing makeup. I used a balm cleanser beforehand and it definitely helped. I did enjoy the fact that it didn't feel stripping or dry and it didn't cause any breakouts. I didn't love the smell but it didn't linger so wasn't a huge deal.

Great if you love cheapy coconut smells

This cleanser works fine and especially for the money (I'm an ardent fan of all things The Ordinary) but hope you like coconut cream pie fragrance because this stuff reeks of it

Great make-up remover!

This is the second time I purchased this cleanser. Initially, I didn't think it did a good job washing away my make-up, but I wasn't using it correctly. I found that it works fantastic if I used it before getting my face or hands wet. While in the shower, I lather it, but it doesn't lather ;) in my dry hands then rub/wash my dry face with just the cleanser and then rinse my face with water while continuing to wash my face. After my shower all of make-up is washed clean off my face. This is the first cleanser I have ever used that removes all my eye liner and mascara with just one washing. I don't know how it is for waterproof mascara but it does remove my waterproof foundation. I am extremely happy with this cleanser, just make sure your face and hands are dry before using.
