Perfect second step for double cleanse

This is great as the second step in a double cleanse. It's as gentle as the Cerave Hydrating Facial Cleanser, but it cleans better. I wouldn't use this on its own to remove makeup, but it's great as part of a double cleanse. I've finally found a replacement for the Prescriptives cream cleanser that unfortunately isn't available anymore.

Very drying

I usually use the squaline cleanser but after taking the quiz this was the recommended cleanser for my skin type/concerns. It has made my skin feel extremely dry and itchy. It’s so uncomfortable.

My favorite!

I use all three of the cleansers, but this is the one I reach for most often. It's the Goldilocks cleanser! I like the Squalane one for removing sunscreen and makeup, and then I use this as my second cleanse. It's also great by itself in the morning. I sometimes use the Glucoside Foaming Cleanser if I'm feeling a little oily. But this Glycolipid Cream Cleanser is my favorite. It leaves me feeling fresh, rinsing clean without adding or subtracting too much form my skin.

Gentle Cleanser with Odd Odor

This is a gentle cleanser that, while effective, doesn’t perform well as a makeup remover. I use it as a second cleanser and wouldn’t use it alone given the amount of makeup I wear. My only real complaint is the smell. Others have commented they don’t detect an odor but I get this chemical/fishy smell that’s pretty off-putting. Because I have used similar products that definitely smell better, I won’t repurchase.

My Holy Grail cleanser

I have been using this cleanser for a couple years now and I absolutely love it. Switching from a foaming cleanser to the Glycolipid Cream Cleanser has been the single thing that has made the biggest difference in my skin. My face never feels tight, dry, or irritated after use, and it makes my skin look and feel softer and smoother. The only makeup I wear on a daily basis is lip oil, primer stick on the apples of my cheeks, and a light application of powder on my T-zone, and if I wear more than that I do remove it with micellar water first.

I love every The Ordinary product I have used. This one, dont waste your money on. It feels like I am washing my face with moisturizer. There is no lather and it does not wash anything well.

I really thought this would work for the milia on my face as advised. No change after using for 8 weeks

Happy with cleanser, not overly creamy but as I dont use much make up perfectly adequate.

Love this product. I live in a dense and hot climate so it’s been a journey finding the right product that cleans my face without leaving it oily or too dry.
