I recently tried The Ordinary’s Niacinamide 5% Face and Body Emulsion for the first time and have been impressed by the texture. It’s incredibly lightweight and sinks into the skin instantly without leaving any sticky residue. After two weeks of consistent AM and PM use before my moisturizer, my complexion looks more hydrated and even-toned. I’ve even noticed a slight fading of dark spots. Nourishing, Light Emulsion

This light, softly hydrating emulsion for both face and body from The Ordinary contains 5% niacinamide to aid in fading dark spots and moisturize the skin. The formula is a light, liquidy texture and spreads nicely over the skin. It goes on scentless and immediately soaks into my skin without leaving any tacky residue or greasiness, either. My skin feels noticeably smoother after applying, and I’ve experienced no irritation, but be wary of applying it on broken skin. I particularly hope to see improvement with dark spots around my face, decolletage, arms and hands with continued use, but it’s a bit too early to see fading of dark spots yet. If I do see some positive results, I would definitely purchase some again since it’s quite affordable and effective. For my honest thoughts and experience this set was gifted by The Ordinary.

love how my face and body feel after applying the Niacinamide 5% Face and Body Emulsion. It absorbs very quickly and without any greasy or stickiness which I really like. I have aged skin with many brown spots on my hands, arms, and face so I have been watching them to see if they are lightening. It has only been a few days so it is hard to tell, but the product information indicates it will likely take several weeks to see results. I cannot wait to see my skin in a few more weeks! Gifted by. This has worked ~amazing~ at reducing my oiliness/shine better than anything I’ve ever tried (and I’ve wasted so much money trying so many shine control products). I normally get shiny within minutes of putting my makeup on (which includes shine control powder & primer). I still use all my shine control products but since adding this I don’t have to blot a single time throughout the day. I deducted one star due to price and it does leave a tacky feel I don’t like for applying makeup over.
