This cleansing oil is the best I’ve ever used for waterproof mascara removal. I wish I tried this long before I wasted several hundred on useless eye makeup removers.

My favorite from the Take The Day Off line

I've used all the TTDO products by now and this remains my favorite. It's quick and easy and, combined with a microfiber face towel, gets everything off my face. Glitter, waterproofs, sunscreen, mattes, glues, EVERYTHING. I rub it around my eyes when taking off liners and mascara and like all TTDO products, it's super gentle. I do not have sensitive skin but I did use this in my oily, acne prone days and had no issues. This product is not travel friendly. (Maybe if they improved the pump it could be.) For travel, I take a mini TTDO balm. The solid formula for that travels very well. But this liquid/pump formula makes everything super fast so I still prefer it at home. It dissolves makeup well but the face towel is a major player in removing makeup after it's dissolved. Just like hand drying with towels or napkins removes tons more microbes than air drying. The wiping action is essential. I believe most people who swear by micellar water (which is just soapy water) are really seeing the effect of the cloth or towelette that wipes along with the moisture. I say they're a power duo: remover + cloth. This line of makeup remover has kept me coming back to Clinique for decades. Highly recommend.

Avoid

Made my face break out like crazy. I bought this because I used to use the now discontinued take the day off cleansing balm…: but I HATE IT. drug store makeup wipes would be better for me

Must have

I have used this product for years and absolutely love it! It removes even my most sparkly, dark or super bright makeup without my skin feeling stripped. Nice and gentle but very effective! Doesn't cause any break outs or dryness.

Caused breakouts and was oily

This product got all of my makeup off, but was EXTREMELY OILY and caused me to breakout. It isn’t worth it for the price, micellar water works better 😁.

Absolutely amazing, it really cleanses your skin and really useful for guasha!!
