I have always purchased the brown, and recently they changed the color name from brown to espresso. The difference is, now the espresso is nearly black. I can barely tell the difference. I like the brown because I am a natural redhead, and the brown color is not as harsh on my light complexion. I don't know why they changed the color, but I like the brown better. Otherwise I have literally rode my bicycle in the pouring rain and as long as you use an eye makeup primer this will stay on. It did for me multiple times for rainy or very sweaty workouts. You have to let it set.

It goes on, stays, and I don't even feel it. Great for a natural look without any other makeup, or put it on with a full face for your special occasion. My everyday look is liner, mascara, and brow tint. I use the black liner and mascara, and my eyes just look a little brighter. When I am ready for a night out, I put this on a bit thicker over eyeshadow and add a little wing for the cat-eye. This is my favorite eyeliner, and I've used a few liquid eyeliners. I first bought it a year ago when purchasing other Clinique items online to get the free shipping, and I haven't turned back. I use the black because my eyelashes are lighter toward the root, and this helps hide that (along with mascara).

I had not utilized a liquid eye liner before, and was very impressed with how easy this was to apply, and the results it created. It goes on smooth, with clean lines. The only downside with the bristles is that they can end up being bent in the wrong direction if one is not careful with the cap when putting the lid on the product to store it. It is a great product!

Rated 3 de 5 por Dana de New Formula NOT as Good as Original One For many years, I used Clinique's Pretty Easy Liquid Eyeliner. I was unhappy when it was discounted as it was a deep dark black, applied easily and wore very well without smudging. I called Clinique to ask if the new formula is the same, just rebranded with the new name to include the words High Impact. I was assured it is exactly the same. It's NOT the same. The color is more pale, almost looks gray, not black, when applied unless you apply many coats of it (which means it would get used up more quickly, and Clnique would make more money on frequent purchasing). I is far dryer and far less pigmented. Even the brush tip is different. It still stays on bu6t is not the look I loved and expected when I bought it. Urban Decay and NXY make a more pigmented liquid eyeliner, equally durable, so I will switch my loyalty. I so wish Clinique would stop discontinuing good products.

Rated 1 de 5 por Double Jo de Really miss the water activated liner Used up the last bit of my last Clinique water activated,, waterproof, cake line and had high hopes this could replace it. Not so. With the water activated, you can control color concentration, opacity level, and make a thick or fine line in seconds, with confidence. And the line is solid, doesn't skip here and there. And it lasts all day, no flaking. Sorry to say this product has none if those attributes. Will have ti search for a similar product elsewhere and know it won't come close to one of the best products ever. Sad. Maybe I can make my own.
