worked well on my body, but burned my face

it says you can apply head to toe, however it burns my face a little bit and it also burns the next day after doing my skincare routine. i should probably find some sort of tint or tan to use on my face

Not worth the $

Pros: clear, no transfer of color, not as smelly as other brands Cons: definitely orange I took a chance on this brand which is definitely more expensive than others, but the color was much more orange making it feel cheap…returned.

Just Ok

Just ok. I felt it made me more orange than other self tanners and it doesn’t wear very nicely. The only thing I liked was there was a minimal fake tan “stink” when having it on.

Great Results

I love the Tan Luxe - Hydra Mousse - Light/Medium. This product gives such a great natural looking light to medium tan. I love that its completely clear in the bottle and is a white mousse when it comes out of the bottle. You don't immediately see results on your skin once rubbed into the area it gradually tans your skin giving it a very natural looking tan. It covers the area rubbed in on very good and is easy to apply. It only takes one coat so no need in a second application. It doesn't wash off in the first shower and doesn't leave blotches or areas without tan. I recommend this amazing product to anyone that wants a light to medium tan.

Long lasting

I have used a few different self tanners over the years and this one is by far the best I've used. It went on nice and my color developed very quickly. There was NO orange color and none of that horrible smell! It has a lasting color which is a great plus and I never had a problem with it being on my clothes.

I was really looking forward to trying this after seeing so many good reviews. Sadly, this is getting returned. Pros - Dries fairly quickly after application - Has a very mild scent. Not exactly a fake tanner scent, but maybe a perfume-y scent. - I personally like that it’s clear and does not hair a color guard. It was slightly nerve wracking at first when putting it on but I’m here for no transfer to clothes/sheets/etc. - Nice light consistency Cons - Slight sticky feeling after it “dries”. Not super annoying to me but reminds me that I have self-tanner on so not fun. - Dried my skin out SO MUCH. No matter how much lotion I put on, I couldn’t fix this issue. - My biggest con… faded very patchy. There’s definitely things I like about this tanner, but for the cost I just can’t overlook the patchy fading and very drying to skin.

Easy Application

I really love how easy the application process is for this hydra mousse! No sticky or scent as you’re working it into your skin and it dries pretty quickly. Leaves a nice glow behind that I’m sure you could build if you wanted to.

Works great

I received this Mousse from try it sampling and I love it. Its simple to use and doesnt make a mess. It does not have a bad smell to it that lingers all day long. The color was perfect for me, as I am usually pale

Patchy, clingy, not a lot of color pay off at all. Drug store quality with high end price tag. Not worth it !!!

So first I will start off with saying this self tanning mousse has a strong smell but the smell is clean. A little goes a long way because of how much it foams up. Although after one use I could have been ab extra in Charlie and the Chocolate factor.. I was very orange for almost 3 weeks even after attempting to exfoliate multiple times. So you can also say its very long lasting. The instructions do say you can put on your facr but with how splotchy and orange the application is I absolutely would not put it there.

Good product!

I liked the sleekness of the bottle and the easy application! The mousse goes on nice and smooth and gives you an even tan with no splotches. I only used on my legs but would like to try on my arms as well.

Beautiful tan

I was so excited to try this out! It was super easy to put on but I was worried I would miss a spot since it’s transparent when applied. But I got lucky and ended up with a beautiful and even tan! Looks natural!
