Not my favorite

I’ve been trying out the Milk makeup primer and setting spray and I’m haven’t really enjoyed my experience using both products. Maybe this isn’t the case for all the setting sprays, but the one I got has an unpleasant smell. I also don’t think it’s done much to keep my makeup from staying on perfect.

Terrible sprayer

Just used it for the first time, so I can't speak on performance or wear, but the sprayer on this bottle is a disaster. It sprays heavy droplets unevenly, so you end up super patchy, coverage-wise. The spray itself may be wonderful, but the sprayer component is chaotic. It's going back to the store.

Better than elf!!

It works great. I had the elf setting spray, and it didn’t do a thing. I got this because needed a new setting spray and it was on sale, and I’m very glad I did. Not only does it hold my makeup (especially eye makeup), but it also gives a more dewy appearance. I bought the mini since it is cheaper, and

Causes bad breakouts

I am middle-aged and do NOT have breakout prone skin. This product caused the worst breakout all over my cheeks, an area where I do not get pimples. I look terrible after just a couple days using this product.

Oily Mess

Leaves my makeup too oily, does not hold my makeup. Feels greasy after an hour. Not recommended

It works really well , It’s become a must in my routine especially since I lean into a dewy, fresh-skinned look. The formula with hyaluronic acid and niacinamide leaves my skin feeling hydrated rather than dry or “locked in.”

What a pretty bottle! I really enjoy this alcohol-free setting mist that leaves my skin looking dewy and fresh. Make sure to shake the bottle well to mix the two phases before application. Also, because it's alcohol-free, make sure to use less as it doesn't dry as fast as others I have tried in the past. All in all, this one is perfect for dry skin if you want your makeup to last throughout the day.

Would definitely use on dewy make up

I use the Hydrogrip Spray between my foundation/concealer layer and blush/contour/bronzer layer. Then, I use it again between the blush/contour/bronzer layer and the powder layer. Afterward, I fix it all with UD All Nighter. This whole routine gives me a perfect dewy look that lasts from 8 a.m. until midnight if I need it to. my all time favorite

I can always depend on this setting spray to lay my makeup perfectly. I also love to use this when I need a little touch up. if there's a setting spray you need in your collection it's this one.
