Very Strong and Musky

Received a sample of Jean Paul Gaultier Le Beau Le Parfum to sample courtesy of Influenster. Even though this was a small sample/trial spray - the packaging of the actual bottle (as seen in the ad) was very interesting. Love the color and design. Very modern and art nouveau. The smell itself - what an essence bomb. The moment you spray it, the entire from will be filled and as you walk it will linger. Incredibly intense. Very woody and deep. Amber musk if you will. A little spice - gingery. A little goes a long way and it lasts for quite a while throughout the day. Definitely not easy to wash off nor will sweat and activities make it fade. In fact, it seems to get stronger as your body heats it up. That being said - this one is not for me. Just a personal preference. A little bit too deep, musky, woodsy, spicey, and...manly for me. It's to the point where it attacks your nostrils and seem more offensive than pleasant. Others might love it though. Definitely gets the attention of others. Just not sure if on a good way or bad.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Jean Paul Gaultier Le Beau Le Parfum I dig the bottle... the torso with the gold fig leaf feels playful and raw, very much JPG’s signature. The fragrance itself opens like many designer scents... sweet, loud, and built to last, but not overly unique. Compared to the original Le Beau, which leans fresher, lighter, and more tropical with that coconut and tonka combo, this Le Parfum takes things darker and heavier. It amplifies the sweetness, adds more density, and projects with force. Where the original feels more like a summer vacation in daylight, Le Beau Le Parfum is more “after hours”... thicker, moodier, more aggressive. I’m not a fan of the spike of notes or how loud it can be. It’s strong and tropical, but it never feels refreshing. People will smell your scent trail (sillage). For me, this is not a daytime summer wear... if I ever wear it in the heat, it’s only after sunset. It really carries that “going to the disco” vibe... bold, attention-grabbing, and built to turn heads, but not necessarily the most refined or unique take out there. This one will hit hardest with the younger crowd... late teens to early thirties, the ones chasing compliments on the dance floor. In my twenties I probably would’ve rocked this and partied all night... but now, in my late forties, I’d be the guy wearing it while sitting at a patio bar, watching the younger crowd live it up and wondering how on earth I ever used to do it. I dig it and for the right person? This is great value and performance, I recommend trying on skin before committing to a bottle. X. (99bottledscents)

Lovely sandalwood fragrance!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] If you’re a fan of the original this will be a good hit for you. The citrus in the opening doesn’t smell very much like pineapple to me but it does settle into a beautiful sandalwood. The scent stays on clothes for a long time and on the skin for probably 6 hours. Overall it’s a little on the youthful side but I would recommend to a friend!

Le Beau Le Parfum is warm and fresh. It’s also fruity with a hint of coconut and bean that gives it a sweet vibe. It lasts all day on my skin and has gotten me compliments. I highly recommend it if you want something sexy and refined.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Very versatile smells really good overall really decent accidentally dropped a bottle and it broke so unfortunately did not get a picture but my house smells good. That’s for sure.

The smell is amazing

It has an amazing sent. I love it. It’s really not bad priced for how long it last. I was sad when I only got a small bottle for the packaging. You can where it to any function your going to. I would recommend this to anyone.

A very good summer cologne

Very good combination of a sweet and woody smell. The initial smell is sweet, the main scent of coconut, but as it sets, it smells woodier. This would be more of a summer scent. The smell lasts about 7 to 8 hours on skin and clothes.
